All the kids are still friends and practice together all the time. Not sure what you mean by PETCH band is all guitars. Please explain. A bass guitar typically has five strings to extend its low-frequency range, allowing players to access lower notes (usually a B string) that are not possible on a standard four-string bass, providing more flexibility for playing in different keys and musical styles, particularly when deep, heavy sounds are desired; this extra string also allows for greater freedom in playing positions on the neck without needing to shift as often.

@ Hi stan thanks for replying. What I meant by all guitars, was there was no keyboard player, Glad they are all friends. Because like you said they are just kids . Having fun playing Covers . I hope they all continue to work hard at school and college. The magic is for them to write music that teenagers around the world want to hear and buy in their millions. 5 string basses ,I’ve seen all the famous bass players since the 1960s either at concerts, or on television or videos And most of them always used 4 string basses.
