I have my great great grandmother's treadle and I use it for most of my sewing.I make clothes for myself and my triplet daughters -since I'm lucky enough to have a fantastic market in my town where fabric is a bargain it means we can all have great wardrobes for very little.

AGT constantly flashes the judges "reactions', it ruins the performamce in my opinion, and probably just feeds into programmming people fo have ADD

I don't care that I know, it doesn't take away anything from how cool the performance is. I actually am even more impressed, knowing what she has to coordinate so well.

This made me sad, how did something so beautifully made get left behind? In the past? How come we cannot make things this way, in the present, all these mass-produced products and trash machines smh...

Hope the kids appreciate having a mom who goes on all the rides with them and who is taking them on such a fun vacation. Continue to have a great time.

50s and 60s design is seriously so good! It's always the kind of stuff that when someone in more recent years does we're all like WOOOOWWW WOAAHHH MINDBLOWING!! HOW DIDN'T ANYONE THINK OF THIS BEFORE?!! Only to find out stuff was common like that in 50s and 60s. They were something else...hahaha.

One of the first times magic was ruined for me was in the mid 90s because of a quick change act. I was high up stage right and everything she did was obvious.

I knew it was a sewing machine before she opened the box because my mother had the same one! She made all my brothers' and my clothes as kids. I wanted store-bought clothes and now wish I had appreciated her effort more.
