The Moroccan Ministry of the Economy and Finance (MEF) has unveiled the terms and conditions for contributions to Special Fund No. 126 for managing the effects of the earthquake that hit Morocco, created on the high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and as part of the national effort to put in place emergency measures to mitigate the impact of the earthquake that affected several regions of the Kingdom. Citizens and private and public organizations wishing to make contributions to the above-mentioned special fund by bank transfer are asked to specify the following: 1) For domestic transfers : RIB of beneficiary: 001 810 00 780 002 011 062 03 18 Name of beneficiary: Ministerial Treasurer at the Ministry of Economy and Finance Purpose of transfer: Contribution to special fund No. 126 2) For transfers from abroad : IBAN of beneficiary: MA64 001 810 00 780 002 011 062 03 18 Beneficiary name: Ministerial Treasurer at the Ministry of Economy and Finance Beneficiary bank: Bank Al-Maghrib SWIFT: BKAMMAMR Purpose of transfer: Contribution to special fund No. 126 Interested parties can make their contributions by credit card, via the Internet portal of the Kingdom's General Treasury (www. tgr.gov.ma), according to a Ministry press release. They can also pay their contributions in cash or by bank check to public accountants working for the Kingdom's General Treasury at national level, i.e. ministerial treasurers, regional treasurers, prefectural or provincial treasurers and tax collectors, as well as to the accounting officers of the Kingdom of Morocco's diplomatic and consular missions abroad. Bank checks should be made out to the public accountant (ministerial treasurer, regional treasurer, prefectural or provincial treasurer, tax collector or accounting agent abroad), the same source points out. Bank cheques and cash payments will give rise to the issue of a declaration of payment or a receipt, as appropriate.
