Hello, I have the error "There are no load combinations that match the design group's "specification" (ASD vs. LRFD) parameter. Please edit the design group's parameter or use the load case manager to edit the load combinations." I already tried to put "custom" in my load combinations but it doesn't fix it, can you help me solve it?

Complicated issue in this software, I use other analysis software but this software is not practical on the load issue. Tema complicado en este software, yo utilizo otros softwares de analisis pero este software no es practico el tema de las cargas.

I had an issue when I imported a light-gauge shape from shapebuilder into VA and the Design of the model wouldn't work. The model was stable but it would just say the member is "Not Checked" Edit: Looks like I have to choose a "Design Type" that isn't "Analysis Blob" when exporting Edit2: But there are no Design Types that match a built-up light-gauge shape

is there any explanation of buckling that may happen in composite beam?
@DomaineStickem3 жыл бұрын
Buckling shouldn't occur until after the composite beam has been loaded beyond capacity right? And design plays a pretty strong factor in ensuring buckling doesn't occur at all. Everything from the strength of concrete, the number/size of anchors, steel bean selection and tributary width plays a crucial role. Check AISC 10th edition chapter 3 for details on composite beam moment capacity and anchor strength
