I like when religion is introduced like this, I feel like this correctly introduces religion, it shows how important religion is and how it's most often used for people who need it the most instead of painting it in a negative light that seems aggressive or dictator-ish. The way everyone painted it growing up made me turn away from it but recently I've found myself going back to it and this is the final nail in the coffin. She explained it perfectly.

Something like feeling guilty over pre-marital sex is what interrupted relationship with God for years and is still one of those things I struggle with. Not pre-marital sex specifically. It's how insignificant it is. I'm not supposed to create God in the image I want, so I don't, but I hope he can accept me despite things like that seeming so unworthy of a guilt trip.
