The American pasta is the pasta you are speaking of. Pasta made in Italy is high quality and made of wheat with strict Italian guidelines. US allows all the crap in products and are allowed to label it healthy, fat free, sugar free, preservative free.

Your dietary recommendations are rather out of date. Grass fed butter and dairy far better for insulin resistance than skim milk and other low-fat yogurts, etc. Healthy fats include avocados, olive oil, coconut oil and grass fed butter and hard cheeses like Parmigiano and aged white cheddar. All of these foods, non GMO, of course, and in moderation. I personally corrected the various foods on your list and lost 24 pounds in 7 months and greatly improved various health symptoms. My metabolic issues were the most affected. So much more energy. I'm 74 years old and feel great. Also I eliminated all grains including whole grains because the starch metabolize as sugar. And definitely no oats! Organic stone ground oats are hard to find. Please understand that my comments are coming from the wish for better health globally and better food regulation to get the harmful seed oils out of our foods. Cholesterol is the so misunderstood in our blood work. We should all educate ourselves before putting more drugs and chemical ingredients into our bodies.
