That's a cod? It looks like a walleye
@martinflytyer5 ай бұрын
No, it is definitely a cod, sometimes it is confused with pollock but in these waters (Denmark) it is rare, at least in my experience. And as far as I know, sanders or walleye do not live in salt water 👍🏼😃🐟

I met a flyfisher two days ago that told me I had to test a fly and gave me exactly the one in the video but in gold color. Now I see why
@martinflytyer6 ай бұрын
In my opinion that guy is right. Since I have tried 100% copper, half copper and half gold, and even 100% gold and the best results were in that last one. In any case, I always carry all the variants in my fly box, some of which I even add a small tugsten to gain depth quickly. Here in Denmark they call it Kopperbassen ✌🏼✌🏼 I wish you great catches!! 🐠

Great video! May I ask, why do you have to brush it in the end?
@martinflytyer10 ай бұрын
Thanks for your question. I do it to bring the dubbing fibers and the feathers of the fly's thorax back so that it offers less resistance in the water and makes a smoother and more natural movement 🙌🙌
