They're all the same, just people (like Rank Fishkin) kept changing the names. I mean there is effectively no difference between so-called '10X'ing' a piece of content and a full blown skyscraper article that is also designed to cover every possible aspect of the subject. Cornerstone is also very similar to Pillar pages as they are supposed to act as a 'cornerstone' or 'pillar'/main piece of content. Marketers and SEO's who want to maintain the mystery and high rates for work, are the main reason we have these alleged differences. I was hoping to see how these are applied, as in are they "pages" or "posts".

So what would it be the best approach for temporary posts? I have a post category where each presents an offer. When the offer's period is done, the post will disappear for visitors, but not deleted. I am using noIndex but I am not sure it's the best choice. What do you think?

I came here to explicitly rant about the redundancy found EVERYWHERE on search engines, being shown a LIMITED NUMBER OF RESULTS, often IRRELEVANT. But what bugs me so bad, is how when striving to find good tutorials here on YT, EVERYONE IS AN EXPERT, acting as if their SAME RECIPE/FORMULA, is original, special, unique. It clogs the stream of info, fulfilling egos more than offering instruction. Convoluted content is also a problem, taking a simple fix and making it seem more complex, adding unnecessary steps, tools, etc. . You can reframe all you want, get specific, and you have to go through all kinds of monologuing to find it doesn't actually hit in the point you asked for. Sooo time consuming, it sucks energy away .. Thanks for the chance to express my learning frustration

I have a .com.br with a 301 redirect pointing to a .com domain, but the .com.br domain is showing up on google SEPR. How can I remove the .com.br domain from google? Since it's a 301 redirect, was it suppoused to show up on results? Can someone help me?

I think skyscraper got mixed up from IAB ad size terminology. Like the way people will refer to a website as a domain when domain is a network that may or may not host any websites.

Hello. Great information. I have a website that started off as a woocommerce ecommerce site but turned it into a blog. I want to create a new site with the same URL but don't want the 20,000 product, EAN, tags, shop pages anymore (i used xml-sitemap to see how many pages the sites has). Some of the pages will be rewritten and 301'd to new pages. But the most part I won't need most of the site. Would it be best to noindex those pages or 301 Redirect to my home page?
