I was just standing at the sink with the dishes when this came on. The person who I was when I first heard this breezed in too. I guess these regular moments are just as good a moment as any to have your cells rearranged like it was the first time all over again.

I was 13 years old sitting around a fire with my dad. I was bummed out about a girl, and after a long talk he showed me this specific cover of the song. I’m 22 now and have probably listened to this song more than any other. Inspired to me learn how to play the strings. I feel all the years of crushes/heartbreak and melancholy rush through me in the few short minutes it’s playing.

I vividly remember THE DAY this video dropped. I know for a fact I immediately ‘liked’ it… this is the 4th video I know FO SHO that I’ve liked, know the videos verbatim, etc. 4 videos today. KZbin is taking away likes from peoples accounts.

What a beautiful face I have found in this place That is circling all 'round the sun What a beautiful dream That could flash on the screen In a blink of an eye and be gone from me Soft and sweet Let me hold it close and keep it here with me And one day we will die And our ashes will fly from the aeroplane over the sea But for now we are young Let us lay in the sun And count every beautiful thing we can see Love to be In the arms of all I'm keepin' here with me What a curious life We have found here tonight There is music that sounds from the street There are lights in the clouds Anna's ghost all around Hear her voice as it's rolling and ringing through me Soft and sweet How the notes all bend and reach above the trees Now how I remember you How I would push my fingers through Your mouth to make those muscles move That made your voice so smooth and sweet But now we keep where we don't know All secrets sleep in winter clothes With one you loved so long ago Now he don't even know his name What a beautiful face I have found in this place That is circling all 'round the sun And when we meet on a cloud I'll be laughing out loud I'll be laughing with everyone I see Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all

I can’t pick a favorite Avett brothers song- but this was the first I ever head and it just hits my core soul. Heard it in the 7th month of a cross country journey I took in my mid 50’s to figure out how to be me now that mothering is behind me, my old marriage was not strong and I just needed to find truth. This song told me all I learned on that journey. Thank you .

One of my very favorite cover songs. I forget to breathe every time I listen, because I’m hanging on every note, and Seth’s voice sounds so beautiful. I play it in rotation every night with TAB’s covers of David Childers’ The Prettiest Thing, Just Like a Woman, by Dylan, and Jessica Lea Mayfield’s For Today.

I still remember the day I first heard that. In my deep memory, it was sung by a girl in Mad Max though, I remember the perfume she used , the atmosphere we dive into. That's a loving song, isn't it?

This is beautiful. But it's a bit too polished, missing Neutral Milk Hotel's wild circus sound and Mangum's manic tone. Still a wonderful homage.

Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo Hands down I'm too proud for love But with eyes shut It's you I'm thinking of But how we moved from A to B It can't be up to me 'cause I don't know Eye to eye, thigh to thigh I let go I think I'm a little bit, little bit A little bit in love with you But only if you're a little bit, little bit Little bit in lo-lo-lo-lo-love with me Ooo Oh Oh Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo Ooo ooo ooo And for you I keep my legs apart And forget about my tainted heart And I will never ever be the first to say it But still I, you know I-I-I I would do it, push a button Pull the trigger, pull a mountain, jump off a cliff 'Cause you know, baby, I love you, love you a little bit You would do it, you would say it You would mean it, and we could do it It was you and I, not only I mhh I think I'm a little bit, little bit A little bit in love with you But only if you're a little bit, little bit Little bit in lo-lo-lo-lo-love with me Ooo I Think I'm a little bit, little bit A little bit in love with you But only if you're a little bit, little bit Little bit in lo-lo-lo-lo-love with me, Ooo oh Come here, stay with me, stroke me by the hair 'Cause I would give anything, anything To have you as my man Come here, stay with me, stroke me by the hair 'Cause I would give anything, anything To have you as my man Little bit, little bit A little bit in love with you But only if you're a little bit, little bit Little bit in lo-lo-lo-lo-love with me Ooo I think I'm a little bit, little bit A little bit in love with you But only if you're a little bit, little bit Little bit in lo-lo-lo-lo-love with me Ooo I think I'm a little bit, little bit A little bit in love with you But only if you're a little bit, little bit, little bit Little bit Little bit Little bit Little bit, little bit
