Memories, I was reared on a small dairy farm in the North of England, we called the cow shed a Shippon, and we bottled the milk and delivered it every day to customers in the small town.

are you using 500mm or 750mm? how big are your bales? How many bales per roll of wrap? Sorry for all the questions, just looking at purchasing a similar unit.
@weavercattlecompany2 жыл бұрын
What a piece of crap, just convince me not to ever buy one after seeing that 🤣 You're manual tying and cutting the wrap for every bale which is as inefficient as it gets. You should never have to leave the seat of the tractor till the wrap runs out unless you're loading them too. Love the placement of the hydraulic pump, totally exposed so if a bale falls off the turn table it smashes right into it! Who ever designed that wrapper has to be half retarded considering Norse/H&S designed the best individual bale wrapper ever back in the mid 90's 😉

Proverbs 24:27 (NIV) Put your outdoor work in order and get your fields ready; after that, build your house. Thank you for the video. Yours popped up when I did some sort of search about getting fields ready or something like that. This scripture is interesting as I think I may have my success ideas wrong sometimes so I'm trying to understand what God means by this scripture. I liked that your video showed removing large rocks from the field, although I would assume you already have used the field before but I think rocks possibly come up again after a harvest, I think I've heard. If God is my Rock, according to Psalm 42, why would I remove Him from my field before I till and plant and then eventually harvest... I wonder.

We had one of these only a 60 footer and no cage on the exterior ladder. My father asked me to go up with the rope for the fill pipe. My reply was one of two things, either he was going to do that or the cows were going to starve. He finally decided to leave the fill pipe up all the time until my cousin hit the high tension power lines with a plane buzzing the cows and almost took the top of the silo off before he crashed in the corn field. . I had problems just looking out the panel once the silo was filled let alone go up that ladder with nothing between me and the ground except air.

Always look forward to your videos man. You must’ve done some small squares, I saw the elevator set up in the background. Anyway, from a feeding standpoint, what do you prefer, the balage or the small squares? Is there a difference in milk production? Keep the videos coming... as you can of course. Thanks
@shar-richfarms21494 жыл бұрын
Andy Lieffring I like both, feeding the round bales are easier to handle and it works great for our set up but it’s nice sometimes to get dry hay in them
@scottsargent85644 жыл бұрын
Nice setup you've got there. And you have a bale cart so you can feed them in the barn. Nice ! Feeding high moisture baleage free choice makes it a challenge to walk behind the girls when you have them in the barn i would think. Thanks for sharing
