I love using detachable blades. That method is easier for me to understand & faster than using adjustable clippers.

That's how a fade with detachables is supposed to look. You can tell when a person knows how to use them cause that person won't spread the fade all the way down to the ear. They only need about an inch to go from skin to at least a #2 like in this video. That's an A+ detachable blade fade.

You didnt do the skip method ?
@ronniemckellar6208
@ronniemckellar6208 3 жыл бұрын
Not to take away from the tutorial some barbers use the skip blade method and some don't, I use the skip method depending on the hair texture and density, some school don't teach the detachable blade clipper system, so when you mention skip method, some may have got lost, the skip method really same a lot of time, and allows a barber to service more guest, Great question,,,

A comb and no nail brush, detachable blades, you had to have learn from a old head, that's all I used since the 90s Proper barbering ur adjustable clippers are supposed to be used the same way as thinning shears for fine tuning and clean up.... much respect

Try using the Oster Universal Guard #2 or #3 for the 1 1/2 and the Oster Universal #4 depending on the texture and density of the hair the length of the hair could vary...
