As for the sin angle...what if that was the only way to defeat this creature? Would it have been better to let the plague consume the entire city? The way i see it, within the established rules of the story, it was either commit the sin of adultery or let everyone be killed. I would take choice 1.

I re listened to your video just to be sure I understood your points. I get them. I do. I am not going to say you don't get it. I just see this differently. I don't see this as a classic good vs evil movie, and I do love those. I see this as a period piece, movie that simply tells a twisted romance story of a cursed creature who was able to finally find peace instead of being destroyed and I liked that.

Gladiator 2 was very hyped, however it proved to be beautiful, impressive, and incredible which can’t be said about the very poorly made terrible box office bomb (2011) Green Lantern which wrote a huge check that it could not cash because it wasn’t as epic as the original 3 Star Wars movies, or the impressive Star Trek reboot movie. While I am a huge Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) fan, except that doesn’t mean I won’t call that very poorly made Green Lantern movie a very poorly made stinker because it’s exactly what it is aka an epic failure both at the domestic box office, and because of the terrible quality which includes poorly written, awful comedy, flimsy world building, awful CGI, etc.

Also it’s pretty damn stupid and unbelievable that the audience should suspend disbelief that only Carol recognizes Hal is a Green Lantern because the CGI mask is very paper thin resembling face paint from a Carnival instead of a high quality mask that should be equal to what Robin and Zorro use.

@@CinemaSermons The screenwriter is very successful so he’s not offended or angry when he got asked about Deadpool 2 having a scene where Deadpool shots Ryan Reynolds so he won’t be in the very poorly made (2011) Green Lantern movie. He’s had consistent success so having the stinker that is Green Lantern doesn’t bring down the high bar bating average of writing very well written movies. Also, he agrees that the Green Lantern movie is awful even though Ryan, the director, and everyone else involved wanted to make an epic science fiction super hero themed Blockbuster movie in the league of the Star Trek reboot, the original 3 Star Wars movies from 1977-1983, Terminator 2, Superman, etc.
