Hi, just bought a kr7 Roland for pieces. I have repaired it and it runs correctly. All functions are available but no sound ! I have connected a guitar AMP 200w in the line out left or right and with amp volume to max I can hear the different voices, rythms, song files, but it's very low. When I play the keyboard I can hear my playing. The midi is also ok ! When I plug a mic, with vocal harmony menu I can hear correctly in speakers. Idem when I plug a mp3 player into Line in. The sound is OK. Do you think it's the dac ? Have you ever seen this problem ? Thanks for your help.

The Nord has the best sounds by a huge margin. However, the action on the keyboard is also very important and I have heard that the Yamaha has better keyboard than Nord. The Nord is also extremely overpriced.

Comparação desequilibrada e injusta. Nord é só pegar e tocar pois suas amostras são samples puros. O Moxf com timbre "cru" necessita de edição pra se alcançar melhor timbre. Pra equilibrar essa comparação teria que ser um moxf com placa de expansão no qual se pode ter amostras de samples.

The Montage sounds better, but it could just be the keybeds responding differently to velocity.

I personally prefer Korg rather than Yamaha, I'm not a fan of Yamaha at all. I own a Roland one, and I would love to buy a Korg krome, but Kross does the job perfectly.

The Roland does Piano sounds better in my opinion, like another user commented; the Yamaha is a bit tingy on those. However, I enjoy the sound of the s80's alternative settings more like the strings for example
