i avoid spots with blue blubber jellyfish in Moreton bay. It's weird how you'll have hundreds or thousands at one spot and none at another. And I've not been stung like Ben. That's nasty. We do have killer box and Irukandji jellyfish in the north but only in the north and during summer, in the off season at N QLD. It is a continent after all. Fresh water stonefish, yes, had one, they hurt! Lot's of babies which just sting. Stingrays barbs are possible although extremely rare - I've seen two cases. Proper stonefish - I've not heard of a (kiting) case. I've seen sharks though.

Why bother pump foiling in that scummy pond when you could be doing rock starts off of Puerto Viejo or Punta del Santo and then catching waves?

Lol we love these session but…when you get back on shore without swimming these sessions are even better! I know you love your 13.5 nexus but try an xlite lol, less struts are gamechanger for foiling, even if you want just a kite for everything pick an xlite for lightwind foiling and you will not regret it mate

Hi Ben. Interesting thing that a small frontwing wingfoil works for kitefoiling. It looks like the vert 700 wing. Is that correct? Will it fit on the SLC mast/backwing? See you in South Sardinia 😀

Yes exactly, no the slc backwing only works with the spectrum. The stab of the vert is smaller… 🙌

Geiles Video Ben - nice to watch while I am sitting here in wetty, coldish and windless Hamburg full of German autumn grey clouds… Do you think the upcoming 2025 SURF WITH BEND WEEK in SARDINIA will be enough for you teaching me all these nice and easy looking Kite tricks you showed off with during the first half of the video?? Guess you will hv to make quite some efforts…😉 Besides that I never liked wing foiling but I must admit it looked insane with this CORE HALO, so there will be more work for you teaching my old bones…

the nice french south!!! if you re going to perpignan you will found a lot of nice flat spot on the road !!! a bit gusty!!! if you can try la palme with sea wind you would love it !! or le spot du pont levis only with mistrale !!! your one foot slide is really styleash!!!! enjoys the french petit dejeuné!!! !!!! nice style nice experience !! i love when you kite on a non spot kite!! !ps: eating a choco swiss is totally forbidden in france!!

@@BenBeholzVlogs La Palme is a bit gusty though, you should check out Parc Des Dosses (Le Barcares). It's where Lords of Tram was held and I met a lot of pro kiters there. Fantastic spot :)

Love to see the video of those locals spots! Info for Viewers!! The first spot is not legal in the boat channel... Although I love myself finding these golden gems, WARNING .its super sketch, water quality is not very healthy and you will get kicked out of that spot by locals in order to make sure municipality doesn't close everything. lets keep the legal kite spots open (on the other side). Respect the local spot rules in busy areas. <3 Sick Ben and team!! and love the videos!! Keep it up

Amazing vidéo. I love to wander on google maps to find secret flat spots as well.. its part of the excitement! The one foot slide to backroll was super stylish, I will definitely give it a try. Rügen is about 4 hours drive, I’ve always seen professionals kite there by offshore wind but idk if it’s safe and I heard it’s pretty choppy with on shore wind, would you say it’s safe by offshore in dranske?

Actually on snow with skis you get more speed and can go more upwind with skis than with a snowboard. Probably because you have two edges so you can hold against more force from the kite. The only downside is you are always standing twisted so your knees might start hurting after a while.

😉😉😉😉 Leider schlechte recherchiert. Kite hat quasi mit Ski angefangen, wie man den anderen Kommentaren entnehmen kann. 😉😉😉😉Bin früher ,vor 20 Jahren, mal mit Twintipwasserski mit Bindung gefahren. Was nervt ist das mit dem Sray vom Außenski. Deshalb macht es auch keiner. Abspringen ist auch ätzend Nur to Blind fahren finde ich leichter als auf einem Board.

I first saw Cory Roeseler on his kite skis back in 1986 at Hood River. He was flying a stack of Flexifoil ram-air kites. I then sailed next to him on my windsurfer at Kanaha in about 1992 or 1993 - he was ripping on his short skis - flying his fiberglass spar kite. But I was a bit faster, and I could point a bit higher.
