How do i find the spots in Google Maps??? When i am on vacation i have pauses in small streets cafes and watching people. So i can see the essence and make Pictures 😊 And yes, talking helps a lot even to get information about the small local spots and events noone knows 🎉

When I look for things on Google Maps, I'm usually looking for places that "look cool" "sound cool" or sometimes you'll even see "busy area" which might tip you off to some hot spots in the area. I especially use Google Maps in conjunction with which way the sun is coming from to see if it's better to photograph there in the morning or in the evening (ex. is it facing east or west?) I'm glad to hear you enjoy taking breaks, observing and talking to people too! It's always the best way to integrate yourself! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :)

I know the feeling! I can’t tell you how many times I went to develop a roll of b&w film and either I didn’t load it properly or I messed it up in developing and couldn’t use it. Guess it happens to the best of us! Who knows, maybe you can cut it up or use it for a collage background or sth…. It also makes for a good testing ground for other things! You never know 😉

I learned on a 35mm camera in the darkroom and then went back to it recently after many years shooting mostly digital. Nowadays, I develop b&w film at home and turned my bathroom into a darkroom, but I still need to buy an enlarger before I start doing darkroom prints again. I’m also hoping to try out c-41 film development at some point-but damn, shooting analog ain’t cheap 😂😉

Hey thanks for the video. My situation is that sometimes when I stop a video recording the screen stays stuck in "storing". I can turn the camera off but the screen continues on. Then my only solution is to take the battery out so that the camera goes back to working. Doing so, the camera goes back to the factory settings. If anyone has the same problem and knows a fix please share :)
@erinolearyphoto

I have had their problem as well, usually when I take a really long video and the file is big. Sometimes I just have to be patient and other times I have to do the same and turn the camera off or remove the battery before it goes back. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that the x-t3 is a very quirky or fickle camera and requires a lot of love and patience when dealing with it 😕

Yes, I will do a part II and give an update soon. It was a good fix at first, but it seems there’s a bigger problem with the internal battery and that the camera will eventually just give out I guess…. It’s a shame bc everyone I know with an x-t2 never seemed to have this problem…. Luck of the draw I guess 😕

Same here with my XT3… but I change batteries in off position. Sometimes won’t turn on, others when turn on - factory reset… Any way to fix? Or it’s better send to repair? 350-500€ to repair… I dunno if I want to spend so much and then same thing will happen…
@erinolearyphoto
@erinolearyphoto Ай бұрын
Hi there! Honestly, if I were you, I wouldn’t pay for the repair. You’d be better off probably selling it for cheap if you can or asking for a trade in offer at a camera store and then using the money to invest in a new camera. I want to make another video soon with an update on this issue. As it’s come to my attention it seems to be a problem with the internal battery and would cost a lot of money to repair. I’m very disappointed about this myself. It seems fuji really messed up when it came to the x-t3 bc all the people I know still using the x-t2 haven’t had any problems like this as far as I know. My camera is also only 3 years old, whereas my Nikon dslr last me over a decade. I’m sorry to disappoint, but yeah, don’t repair it. Just try to reinvest the money in a new camera if and when you can. I hope it helps and good luck!

@@erinolearyphoto I found your Channel due your review about Instax evo. After about 35 years i think about start with my old Kodak Super 110 again. What do you think 110 or instant photography??

@farmove_de I completely agree! I started with analog bc it’s the “best of both worlds” where u can shoot analog and have instant results like digital. For me, I also feel more like an artist when I’m involved in the entire process from photographing to printing or developing film rather than editing digital files.

Thank you for the video! I have seen a couple before this and none mentioned the battery not being replaceable. I was pretty close to getting one for my partner as a birthday gift, but now I am hesitating... This camera seems so good too!! I'll look into what people have to say about the overall battery life of this camera.

Wow! I’m surprised no one else mentioned it. I’ve had the camera for 1.5yrs and use it pretty regularly. The battery is pretty good and I don’t charge it very often. The only downside is if you’re Shootings with it as opposed to printing images from your phone the battery will die faster bc of the LCD screen. Good luck with your decision!

Sure, but I never had this problem with any other digital camera before, especially not a factory reset. And of course I don’t leave my camera on purposefully while changing the battery, but the battery life is especially low with fuji cameras so I constantly switch between on and off the whole time I’m shooting to conserve it. I mean i can put a brand new battery in the camera, leave it over night and half the battery is dead the next morning without shooting. I never experienced this in all the years I shot Nikon.

@@erinolearyphoto Im curious cos Im considering getting this or the x100t. Do you lose much battery by just taking photos?
@erinolearyphoto
@erinolearyphoto 3 ай бұрын
@@brownwallet942 i had an x30 back in the day and I don’t remember the battery being much of a problem. I also had a friend who had the x100v and loved it (this is a great camera, but also a bit pricier, however the price has dropped a bit with the release of the x100vi. Overall, my xt3 has been a pretty solid camera, but my biggest complaint is the battery life and the fact that I can’t find an adaptable battery pack for it. They’re very different cameras too, so it depends what you’re planning to use it for. Do u need a camera with interchangeable lenses? Or do u prefer sth lightweight for travel? Honestly, if you’re going to get a fixed lens camera, I’d recommend the x100v.

It happened to me too, both with the X-T3 and before with the X-T20. It is the fault of the internal battery which must be replaced if you leave it for too long without a charged battery. Unfortunately this internal battery requires external assistance. Better not to try to replace it yourself
@erinolearyphoto
@erinolearyphoto 3 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing! Yes, I also read something about this internal battery. I'm always replacing the batteries every time I use it and it gets used quite a bit, so it's very rare that it goes a while without a charged battery, but I did find that simply turning off the camera before I change the battery helped quite a bit. Such a shame that something like this would happen on a camera I bought less than 3 years ago.
