So I did all of this exactly as you said, and I only crash now if I look at my map because it just decides to go completely white, then it crashes. Idk if you still respond but some help would be fantastic.

Hi, I got my pc recently, so I am very new to modding (and pc related things in general), I installed many mods such as fusionfix, console visuals, dxvk, responsiveplus. But now I installed Zolikapatch following every step in this video, and it doesn't seem to work. I can't open the menu using f7 (or any other key) and the game crashes if enter any option in the game's menu )graphics, display, audio, etc.). These are the only issues I have, the game runs perfectly, I just want to use the modmenu. I play the gtaiv Complete Edition from steam. I appreciate your work very much! You are of great help.

Hello there! Thank you for the kind words ☺️ Be aware that ZolikaPatch and ZMenu don’t work on the Complete Edition - those require a downgrade to version 1070 or 1080. In this video, I’m using 1080. I’d say DXVK is the mod that brings a huge improvement in the game’s performance. You might wanna check if that will work for you.

So hey I installed Responsive Plus and I love the mod & how weapon damage works but I’m stuck on Mission 36 and I keep having skill issue and dying in 3 shots or that Packie or Gordon gets blown away by a shotgun shell I don’t know if there is a way to undo the mod or the weapon damage because I didn’t realize how hard it was going to make the story missions oh dear it was my mistake anyways

I am wanting to play both GTAIV and the DLC. For responsive plus does EFLC include all of the regular files for GTAIV AND DLC or are they completely separate?

You would be correct about that. The EFLC folder includes files for both GTA IV and the two DLCs. The “IV” folder is just for GTA IV only, no DLCs.

Hello there. You can delete the downgraded copy and reinstall the newest and latest edition through Steam and/or Rockstar Launcher.

No Modloader? If u use this, u supposedly dont have to replace anything, it works like modloader with GTA SA. Zolika made one for IV called IV Tweaker

At the time of this video's making, I wasn't very familiar with mod loaders and made a tutorial based on a showcase video (same exact mods, just this time it's a "how to install" lol). I definitely would recommend a mod loader such as IV Tweaker or Fusion Overloader (if using Fusion Fix). These mods will work with them! Thank you for making this known in the comments :)

Spent 10 hours yesterday trying to mod the game without the buildings (specifically the first apartment and romans cab depot) from glitching out. Finally found the culprit which turned out to be simple traffic fix. So exhausting but works now 😅

Yeah, it's quite unfortunate but certain mods will typically corrupt game saves if you don't start a fresh new game with the current mods you have. This will mostly happen with mods that include map addons, cars, the adjustment of peds and NPCs, and weapons. Glad it's working though!

yo the vid is so good but i got qustion if i put fusionfix with the game and i enabled muiltplayer it will work ? bcs the game run very very poorly and thank you EDIT : btw i installed dxvk and sometimes the game run but when i enter a mission there are no textuer for people and the map just noting idk but i fixed by turning off some settings and ya it works rn im making a copy of the game of some bs happend well im gonna try it again im new to modding this game i used to play it in my childhood finshed the story 4 times in the complete edtion well i seen the video about modding and the muiltplayer said i give shot i got a qustion too can i play the story coop after the downgrade ?

Hello there, thank you so much! I'm assuming you asked this question in my Discord already (given the timing of it). But to answer it here, most mods will not work very easily on multiplayer and can cause issues if other people you're playing with don't share the same mods.

I am saying this because when combining it with FusionFix (from the downgrader) and enabling borderless windowed through ZolikaPatch.ini (alongside adding the -windowed command in the commandline) the game will become normal windowed instead of borderless, how do I fix the issue?

Alternativly, for all the fps issues, instead of setting it to only 1 processor you can just... limit your fps. Both AMD and Nvidia have fps limiters that can be used from their apps. Or you can set your monitor to a lower refresh rate and turn on vsync.

You're absolutely right, but GTA IV does not do well under v-sync itself. Mods like these and FusionFix avoid that hassle entirely. And besides, you get more wins out of it.

Haha, you're like me. I love going for the achievements in that game. On top of it, 100%'ing the game for the third time around is fun. But no, mods will not affect this (especially if you have Steam). You can downgrade and install ZolikaPatch (as shown in the video) and get the Steam Achievements mod that Zolika has on their website (which allows you to also launch the game through Steam). If you do end up downgrading, then go to version 1080 for these mods. If you want the Rockstar Launcher edition of achievements, then I'd recommend Fusion Fix and some of these mods (that being: DXVK, Improved Animations Pack, Bullet Penetration, Beaten & Bruised, Sprint In Interiors, Customizable Niko, Another One Map & Radar Mod, and Whiz Wireless Cellphone). Your choice though! Let me know if you have any other questions. Enjoy your achievement playthrough. Also, are you going to do the same for TBOGT and TLAD? lol

Yes, those two customizable player mods work on the Complete Edition. Sprint in Interiors requires OpenIV to be used.

Ohhh sorry, I didn’t know what you meant. He updated the mod recently (I think a couple of weeks ago) and made it easier. So everything should be inside their appropriate folders. Just follow his instructions if needed (he has them written on his GTA forums page).

Yes, only ask long as you follow through the multiplayer-based setup which will prompt you to sign into GFWL. If you're looking to get Steam Achievements, then you can download the "Steam Achievements" mod by Zolika1351 (an ASI mod) and you can launch the game through Steam no problem. ZolikaPatch is required for this, however.

@@NotAJ thats interesting. i tried getting it to work on 1080 but couldnt. i did get it working on 1070 though now i ran into another issue. my camera keeps centering too quick while walking. do you know a fix for this? i heard fusion fix gets rid of this but i cant get it to work

There’s a KZbin channel called whatever & he does all possibilities videos of gta four minions & unique dialogue gets unlocked deepening on what you the player does during each mission.
