Great tutorial. Been years since I've made one. What's the Head Circumference? Does each row Increase by 14 ? Ending with 98 stitches on each R-7 to R-10. Thanks ❤
@niecyscloset6 күн бұрын
Head size is 21 inches but if you want to do a larger size, follow these instructions. Row 7, DC in next 5 stitches, 2 DC in the next and repeat around. Then do DC in the next 5 stitches, decrease in the next, DC in next 6 stitches, decrease in the next and repeat around b4 DC around rows 8, 9 & 10. Then do rows of single crochet. I hope this helps.

@niecyscloset Thanks you ❤️. I made one last night I did change the last 6 rows of SC to 3 rows for HDC. My Head Circumference is 20" and it'll give a little more. I'm on my second one now. Looks like I can get 2 out of 1 skein of yarn. Using I Love This Yarn color Greybeard.

Nice video! Do more please. I especially like how you took your time showing us the turning stitches. I struggle with those the most by adding or missing one and then my project becomes wonky! 😂

Are you using acrylic or cotton yarn?

Acrylic but I do use cotton for washcloths and baby clothes.

Measure the head by the number of chains using the J hook or use measuring tape around the head. Number of stitches should be by even numbers not odd numbers.

Seems something was missing. After doing the first row of double crochet, I'm assuming you slip stitch into the top of the chain 3. Then chain one before starting the single crochet row.

This (your) blanket is so pretty 😍! I love the variegated yarn you used. I've made a couple of things with this pattern, a pocket shawl in the shape of a scarf for one niece. She & her mom love it. And a couple of stuffed pumpkins 😊. It's a really fun/easy and fast working stitch.

Caron Blossom Cakes are 61% cotton and 39% acrylic. aran/4 weight, 481 yds/440 mtrs. It feels more like a heavy DK weight, but it works up so easily. Radiant Rainbow is my favorite colorway. Maybe I'll make another blanket with this stitch pattern. Cheers!
