I realize Paul never wanted Spectors lush string arrangement on his masterpiece However it did raise the dynamics of the piece to a much higher level. L.Russell Brown

My late father was a very knowledgeable man particularly about all types of music. He thought the Beatles were something of great importance to music. This was his favourite song of all.

Not only were each member of the Beatles blessed with talent, but their work ethic was off the charts and they deserve every ounce of accolade they receive. 😲

Paul was the brains of the whole thing since he joined the Quarrymen. John said it all started moving forward once he met Paul. - Paul’s song they first recorded as the Quarrymen - Quarrymen members said Paul arranged their songs and directed even then - Paul’s song that got them their record contract - Both engineers for the Beatles said Paul led musically the entire time - John blamed Paul for experimenting too much on his songs - So Paul was the hitmaker and the experimenter - Paul was the one who came up with ideas and worked with the artists on the album covers Paul was the real leader of the Beatles and the mastermind behind it all. -

Just listened to George Michael's version. It is better I have to admit but it is Paul's song don't forget.
@FuzzyFoot583 ай бұрын
@@sallywest9932 No, of course not. I've never questioned Pauls talent as a songwriter and I never will. It just irks me when people say thay he's an amazing top tier singer when that is clearly not the case. George Michael, Freddie Mercury, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand and Aretha Franklin... THOSE are/were the real top tier singers.

I don’t like this version. I think that glyn John’s version, and on the “Let it be… naked” version is pretty better too, but stills the Long and Winding Road, one of my favorites of Beatles.
