I've read about the abuses that happened in Missouri since 1945 included some deacons, seminarians; 163 instances of sexual abuse or misconduct by Catholic diocesan priests against minors. It was incomprehensible & it makes me very sad as a Catholic myself! Thank you Father for your wisdom, fortitude & honesty about this! God bless you & Bishop Cordileone for bringing us a strong message about this! We need more prayer & more fasting!

JMJ+ Fr. Illo, I left once years ago, came back, and promised my Confessor never to do it again. All I hear are JESUS' Words of query to Simon....as if HE were asking me directly, as well. And, Simon's response, " LORD, to whom should we go?" I hate the abuse and horror that has permeated JESUS' Church, et al..... but I'm still here, comforting and cajoling some of the faithful, and sometimes just myself. I believe in the validity and licitity of the Traditional, Apostolic Mass. I believe in the Catechisms of the Councils of Trent and Baltimore.......many do not. I can only pray for them, but the Cardinals and Bishops can and should do more. They must be brought to either publicly Repent and do Penance, and or leave the Priesthood and face civil justice, or both....? We, the people, deserve this, but GOD demands it. They blaspheme against GOD..... We are starving and in tears, while they are cancelling Holy Priests, murdering babies and elderly and the Deposit of Faith, and proclaiming bad, to be good. It is not! The condition that GOD'S Church has been allowed to sink is deplorable. You are one of the few Priests that continually speaks out about the abuses....so thank you, and please don't stop. amen.

Many say that the reason they don't like the Tridentine Mass is because the priest has his back to the congregation. They are mistaken. The priest is facing in the same direction as they are and making offering to God.

Amazed at the creative thinking, especially in these difficult times. Doing a great job!!! Let's see all the other parishes doing this too! I firmly believe it is because of Perpetual Adoration that keeps this parish joyfully alive. Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, have mercy on us! Father Illo, we're so blessed to have you as our priest. This is one of my favorite homilies. I need to print it out and keep with me. Thank you, Star, for posting the homilies separately from the mass. They are gems.

I wish there would’ve been more information about this video. I live in Florida. So the only information I get about the Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Is by watching the wonderful homilies preached by Father ILLO. I don’t even know the name of this amazing Archbishop, conducting the needed reparations. Regardless it was so very touching and heartwarming to see such a display of public faith and devotion. I would love to visit this church one day. May God bless you all. I did notice something that I wish would have been different. When I used to work at a factory. Whenever everyone went on lunch. All the black people sat at one table and all the white people sat at another. There was no racism involved. I guess people just felt more comfortable being around those similar to them. In the video you see all the faithful in front of the Archbishop. But you see all the priests and I guess they were religious brothers off to the very side. To the right of the Archbishop. It would’ve been really nice to see all the priests and religious brothers intermingled with the faithful. Instead of standing way off to the side away from them. Perhaps in time all humans will come together as one.

Father ILLO is the most honest, holy, Godly, courageous priest I’ve ever seen. I wish to God he was my Shepherd. I’ll keep you always in my prayers Father ILLO. May God bless you, your family, your ministry and your flock.
