Using your English degree for good not evil. I think. Maybe you're using it for evil. Please don't read the Cantos by Ezra Pound!

I didn't think I would be able to find another human being that is actually educated on the candidates and their issues. This was quite the good surprise. Thanks.

Zelpha I'm still watching the debate on my DVR after making jambalaya for my family. Will read your comments soon, but I'd say Cruz eating a booger changes everything.

Ok ok one more lol, take another sip of whiskey and picture Trump or Cruz supporters executing their first amendment rights and marching on Washington if things don't go their way. We can joke now but this election is likely to cause serious bloodshed. Your proposal might be the only way to fizzle these opposing forces out.

Ok ok I respect your conspiracy my brother but I wonder if you know about the war against the new world order of Zion? Get another glass of whiskey for this... I went down a rabbit hole and discovered this guy Texe Marrs and his theory about Ted Cruz. After you hear the arguments of these guys then you understand all of Trump's talking points. Cruz and Trump on a single ticket are like Hillary and Bernie on a single ticket. Cruz bringing Jeb back into the game now that could happen. Don't forget the guys who dropped out still have their delegates and those GOP super delegates can back anyone in the game. Any of the combination of delegates can overpower trump. Right now they are crunching numbers and figuring the math on which pair can combine delegates to beat Trump. This Chris Christie thing is Trump showing GOP he too can combine if that's how they want to play.

I think we will see a new rule announced at the GOP that super delegates do not decide until running mates are selected and it will be just what they need to throw the whole thing. They will say it's because there are so many still in the race but it will be to combine and over throw without upsetting the doomsday preppers that support Trump.

Thank you for this. I am increasingly sickened by the onslaught of pro-Clinton bias in every mainstream outlet.

Hi and greetings from Berlin, Germany. I totally agree...it is just a matter of time for Bernie. But in addition to what you say the most important and the simple fact is: Clinton will never become the President of the US because she used a private email account for sensitive official messages when she was Secretary of State (what kind of "political experience" is necessary for such a stupidity???) I am the biggest critic of my country in every thinkable way but ONE THING I KNOW FOR SURE: If a German AUßENMINISTER (Secretary of State) would have made such an unbelievable mistake, his or her political career would have been over the very day that thing came out!!! For me it is just incomprehensible why the Democratic Party allowed even Clinton to candidate and took such a risk...in my opinion this is irresponsible!!! But it turns out more and more that Wasserman Schultz is such a disgusting human being. Bernie just has to point out Clintons incompetence in the email affair every single fucking day and he will crush her...like the Republikan candidate, who ever it will be, will do if Clinton would become the nominee. And to be honest I just don't understand why Bernie is that fucking soft with Clinton..he shouldn't because there is to much at stake!!!

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a bigger threat to the Dems than Trump is to the Republicans. She's been working to shove HRC down our throat, which divides the party, pisses off the left and reduces overall Dem enthusiasm. Trump, on the other hand, is bringing huge amounts of people out to vote who would have otherwise stayed home. He's expanding his party while she's shrinking hers.

Although I agree with you that superdelegates will ultimately be the deciding factor in the next election, I doubt that Ryan will be their nominee. That would be too overt an act against the supposed democracy we live in.

+Daniel Forcey I take your point, but it's not unprecedented for parties to attempt to put up a new candidate as a result of a divided party, it just hasn't happened in modern political history (that I know of). Who do you think will be the establishment candidate behind whom the party will rally to try and stop Trump?

+The Hetz My money is on Rubio. They have said for years that in order to win the White House in 2016, they need the Latino vote. Rubio is their only hope there now. And I wouldn't count Bush as out just yet. He has a lot of money still behind him. But really, in a year like this I wouldn't be shocked by anything.

The Republicans will lose handily if they do not nominate Cruz or Trump after they win the most states. It would be a disaster for the Party.

+ace8842 While my commentary is meant more for fun than reality, I do believe we're looking at a brokered convention where the establishment will try some dirty tricks. But I think those tricks will fail and it'll be a Trump/Cruz ticket for the party.
