Also a copy of Legacy of Dorn, and an .apk backup of Carnage (with no emulator to actually play it), a copy of Dethwatch which i just LOVE (also love Warhammer Quest 1), Adeptus Titanicus and Aeronautica Imperialis I have it on Steam and have played it a lot. Most of these are HARDLY lost, apparently.

Right out of the gate, I have a copy of Eisenhorn: Xenos for PC on one my backup disks.

Bummed I never got a chance to try Aeronaughtica. I adored Steambirds, so it looks right up my alley

Idk how similar they are but I have a port of Deathwatch. It’s a physical copy for PS4. They probably made some changes from the IOS version because the PS4 version is pretty good, if it is in fact a port of the phone game

There's also regicide which is no longer availabe to buy but even if you do have it, can't be played because of it's online requirement.

Nerd note: Inquisitor Martyr is suspected to lose its licence soon, the devs gave the game an offline patch - more than doubling it's install size, but ensuring it can survive the ages.

I have drop assault installed to an old kindle - but the servers are down. and Legacy of Dorn and Flight Command on my PC now. I'll be "sharing the STC's to the Noosphere" so to speak, after work.

I quite enjoyed Deathwatch! I might even still have it installed, but even if I do, I expect iOS updates will render it unplayable sooner or later. A game that technically isn't lost but can't be downloaded and does depend on obsolete hardware is Warhammer 40k: Squad Command for the Nintendo DS and PSP. I actually owned a copy and never got around to playing it, because... to be honest, even back then, the notion of trying to control 40k armies on a DS sounded virtually impossible. I'm not sure of the state of DS emulation, but the tiny resolution couple with the dual screen / touch screen nature of the system sounds like an absolute chore to interact with.

How about Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus Arena? That was actually a PC game, and one I doubt will ever see the light of day again.

Sadly Aeronautica Imperialis got shafted majorly on the TT side. Still regret not getting some of it back then. That being said, a few mechnics were a bit weird.

I had Space Hulk on my old Steam account. Unfortunately, due to a long story of bullshit and shenanigans, I lost access to that account and had to make a new one, only to find that I couldn't reacquire Space Hulk.

Imagine Warhammer 40K: Genshin Impact like all those modern mobile games coming out...

A tactics based game in 3D turns into a very slow and boring slog. This game should have been traditional 2D. Honestly, just the cutscenes make a decent enough movie.

i was a longtime player of lost crusade, because i was an idiot. eventually got fed up with the pay to win and tedious mechanics and quit. i can tell you one thing for sure, the players were THIRSTY for that female tech priest

It's almost a bit fascinating just how many 40K games have actually been made rather recently. GW was rather stingy when it came to license deals, to the point only a single publisher was allowed to make Warhammer games. THQ used to have the exclusive rights, then SEGA. But now it seems like anyone who may be able to make GW some extra money gets to publish a Warhammer game.

Eternal Crusade was actually SUPPOSED TO BE an actual MMO akin to Planetside 2 with an ongoing 4 way battle between Space Marines, Chaos Marines, Eldar, and Orks. The game concept was too big for the original devs and it's a miracle any of it survived at all. It could have been a massively popular game since it was using the rather straightforward and enjoyable mechanics of Space Marine 1, a kickass setting, and the successful Planetside mmo shooter as a framework. But like another great shooter than didn't even get to see the finish line, Star Wars Battlefront 3, it was just too pure and too big for this world. Maybe with the success of Space Marine 2, someone will actually give it another go, though I would like them to make it specifically in the Horus Heresy to limit the scope to just Space Marines and maybe have more fluid loyalties as HH lends to a lot more flexibility for clans and customization of loyalists, traitors, renegades and black shields. Trying to balance them against Eldar and Orks were a stretch and other Xenos fans will fill left out. Having just the 18 legions in Horus Heresy glory would be unique enough from Space Marine 2 and lend to more sandboxy goodness.

I regret not picking up Adeptus Titanicus when it was available. I keep wishing for Epic scale games, but didn't put my money where my mouth is.

Lost Crusade was such a typical mobile game that it even had a waifu Adeptus Mechanicus.

I have herald of oblivion in my steam library and never finished it. After watching this i went and installed it to see if it still worked and had no problem so what happens once the licence runs out ? I still own it
