Regarding Zymba as Wilma Doesnt: no, the edit with the queens saying it was bad in the confessional wasn’t meant to make you not like her performance, it really just wasn’t working. Wilma may have been a 90’s model but Zymba’s 90’s Filipino comedy schtick really wasn’t it. AT ALL. The humour just doesn’t sell anymore even sans racially insensitive jokes, which they cut much of I think. Khianna’s Baron Geisler is a reformed actor. He rose to fame in his teens in the late 90’s but turned bad boy, having very very questionable and sometimes violent behavior (mostly under the influence) even on set (he pissed on a fellow actor off script, which was referenced in the SG). He has managed to make a comeback and even recently worked with Kyle Echarri himself. He actually loved Khianna’s performance and teased about impersonating Khianna, which should tell you just how accurately Khianna played him. That story’s still in development 😂

To be fair, I think it's smart that not all of Khianna's looks are super jaw-droppingly wow (still think her look this episode is great, btw)... we'd probably get fashion fatigue real quick... I believe she'll be bringing her A+ and S-tier looks back out as the season slowly comes to an end (assuming she makes it that far, which I hope she does) 😊

On La Mas Drag Yari has called out designers who have let the girls down. Also on Last season Mama Pao was working with a different stylist to season 1 but wasn't happy with the results and sacked them but it was so close to filming that there was not enough time to come up with another collection hence the random looks. Allegedly the designer later tried to sell the unused garments to Pangina for Thailand 3 but Pangina smelled a rat and showed pictures of the looks to Pao and is allegedly suing the designer.

I'm from the Ph. I agree with Lana, what angel did was not my cup of tea and I fully get the jokes and references she was giving. But also, I understand why she won. I preferred Tita Baby's humor. When she tried to use that scythe as if she was about to take Popstar to hell, sent me!!! But the fact that international viewers enjoyed it despite the language barrier says a lot about these queens.

I agree with David about Popstar Bench. She is amazing in the real world especially when she is performing in Obar, so amazing that she started the resurgence of a song from the popstar she is impersonating. However, it is not translating into the Drag Race screen. I hope she would get a chance to shine this season.

For majority of us, Filipinos, Angel won. Maria Clara is a character in the novel "El Filibusterismo" who was known as very demure, very classy and very "mindful" Filipina maiden written by Dr. Jose Rizal, our National Hero...and to think that Angel transformed her into modern Filipina but with the same nuances (staying in the character) was WILDDDD. It was like a breath of fresh air. John was so close, I was honestly waiting for a double win. I don't like J Quinn's personality but I can't hate her coz she's making personalized wigs for my favorite iconic Filipino Drag Queens like Marina Summers, Manila Luzon, Eva Le Queen and many more! She's very talented but her drag is not suitable for drag race (for me).

In episode 3 (Girl Group) the Top 2 I think was Maxie and Khianna but I’m not sure. Also, Yudipota’s problem was with the Airline losing her stuff and Popstar was with the Designer. (As a Khianna fan I hate that she had a safe in her track record but her runway brought her down, not that it was bad, there was just better)

yay new upload! just staring on this one, but just wanted to say a few things right off the bat. I am worried that the humor (yet again) will not translate to y'all, since this is very Filipino. We are very chaotic, noisy, etc. and we find the physical comedy of this episode hilarious. I can also sympathize on other's view that maybe John or Tita should've won because Angel was more Angel towards the end of the Snatch Game. I personally think likewise, but that episode would be different without Angel's antics. I still hope y'all enjoyed the episode regardless. Now on to the upload! 😅
