I'm a now retired surgeon. When I working then actually asked me to taken part in this show - Embarrassing Bodies, not Reeves and Mortimer - as one of the doctors. I declined because I felt it was just an exploitative, modern-day version of a travelling Freakshow! That Vic and Bob took the piss out of it like this is brilliant and far better! 🤣

Vic and Bob and Donald did a few gigs. The six small hands routine with the flying golf clubs was a highlight, that and the orange onslaught when they sprayed the audience with carrot juice before attempting to eat them.

A school friend of mine repeatedly fell over like Bob during a technical drawing lesson. After about the fifth time the teacher’s temper was getting a bit frayed, the last time he did it I saw a grown man with a clenched fist drawn back, as close to breaking as I’ve ever seen. My mate didn’t fall over again that entire day. Bob falling over brings back fond memories.
