Calm down. Skipping is measured by counting the amount of bounces on the water, Skimming is the distance of the throw with a 3 bounce minimum to qualify the throw as a skim. Thats why if you look for the Stone Skipping record it's held by Kurt Steiner and skimming is held by Dougie Issacs.

Counted about 50 skips could be anywhere between 40-80 depending how you define a skip and if you really slow it down

No matter what it is, listen closely! You can HEAR him throwing that rock. And I am not certain how common that is and what to make about this sound, but this is definitively impressive! :'D
