Interesting to see the music you rate highly Rick. I'm pretty new to Marillion but like everything I have heard so far. " Marbles " their debut and a few others. Motorhead, Helloween, that Clutch album you showed I am all in on. I have a Bobbie Gentry album, did not know she did a jazz album. I might like that, she does have a smoking voice!. Judas Priest and Saxon are great additions as well my friend.

@@AttackFromDownunda I highly recommend a Marillion experiment (unless you’ve already done this) listen to Clutching at Straws (their last album with Fish as vocalist) and then Season’s End with Steve Hogarth as singer. It’s a cataclysmic change and I love both singers, but what a change. They went from neoprog to almost radio-friendly and eventually to the sort of ambient sound they have now. That Gentry jazz album was an RSD release a few years back. Was never released before then. Hey…take care and thanks for watching.

That is SUCH an excellent Crowded House comp Rick. This comp was released when Crowded House were touring and preparing for their next album after Paul Hesteter left the band, so if I’m right, it contains the only tracks recorded with his replacement, the now late Peter Jones on drums. He was a member from 94 to 96 when Neil shocked everyone and disbanded the band. He sits in at the farewell concert at Sydney Operahouse on a couple of tracks where Paul sings lead. He since went back to teaching and passed away in 2012. There’s a double CD of this as well, with some very cool live recordings, even from Paul Hesters last show with the band. Well worth getting if you see it. Cheers from Morten 😊
