Hola. El grupo tiene su base en New Orleans, donde tocan en diversos locales (incluido el d.b.a.) y, a veces, fuera de sus conciertos y giras, en la Rue Royale y el 'French Quarter'. Su agenda está en su sitio web tubaskinny.com

Great to watch this video again after a long time. So wonderful. The first number is Elysian Fields a lovely composition by Shaye. Love the whole atmosphere with the dancers. Absolutely fantastic. The Lonesome Road performance as second tune so skillfull. I love this song so much. Then Jones Law Blues by Benny Moten. It was just new in their mighty repertoire. Great solo by Barnabus. And I love the typical groove and the middle theme how hilarious. .

Tuba Skinny is always great entertainers. I want to comment on the great dancing couples. The young man in the long sleeve white shirt with dark shorts really knows how to lead his dance partner. I watched him with different girls and noticed with each one he put his hand on their mid back to help direct their turns. That’s the way to do it ! Super fun. Enjoyed all of the dancers

As attractive as TS is, I enjoy watching the dancers. But most of the videos show only glimpses of them bobbing in and out at the edges of the frame.

I agree completely. We can listen and watch, all at the same time. Check these dancers. They begin around 1:30, or so: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mF6xk3aZnNRjmpI

This music is so beautiful, so mesmerizing. The video would lack much of its charm if the dancers had chosen not to dance.

Many thanks, Michel. Although often announced as 'One More Thing', the correct title is indeed 'Tellin' You 'Bout It'. It was composed and recorded by Bo Carter in 1931. As you can hear, it's a simple 12-bar blues in E flat but with the interesting feature that an instrumental 'break' is taken on bars 7 and 8, even during the vocal (e.g. at 01:26 and at 01:43). You can hear the original Bo Carter recording at: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2KbiaJjorBlgac

Tuna Skinny is a street performance band. Whether they play on Royal Street, in a bar or somewhere on the continent, street dancers are a welcome visual addition, especially if they dance well. If the band is doing what they mean to do, people will dance, and God bless 'em.

I think Erika could improve her diction without losing any feeling or intensity. She slurs too much, maybe striving for authenticity(?) and the words are not very clear. Not a criticism' just a helpful comment.
