I live in beautiful Castlemaine and hear the whistle from the stream train from home. When my son was young, I used to take him on that train from Maldon, but it didn’t go as far back then, only to Muckleford. I love hearing that whistle still ♥️

These locomotives are all over 100 years old and yet they keep going marvellous show me a diesel that's 60 yrs old and still going

SSR on the mainline have plenty of streamlined diesels from the 1950's still going strong, pounding up and down victoria's mainlines hauling heavy freight trains.
