It's come to my attention that I installed the SIM card upside down. The 4G sign should go white.
@GeordieawayКүн бұрын
Just worth pointing out that it shows the correct way very specifically in the manual for the bike. Also if the 4G doesn't go white it will be the SIM settings aren't correct as the SIM may be defaulting to 5G I tried an EE and O2 SIM and neither worked out the box, fixed it by going to advanced setting and changing the SIM parameter to IPV4 only and it works fine.
@80211DenverКүн бұрын
I couldn't follow what you were saying to get it working again. You showed the USB port... you turned the bike off, plugged that power into power? I did understand that there is a firmware update that also needed to be applied but, I think that was a secondary part of the 'fix' to help prevent it from happening again
@RuffestКүн бұрын
I think it's probably a fix but they won't know till they look at my log files.
@resmutuКүн бұрын
To me, the swiftness of the response is only as a result of the potential bad publicity regarding their product. The issue with the firmware should’ve been spotted during the ‘PDI’ process. Not running a diagnostic report on a new bike may not seem necessary, but these almost certainly are - this is the entire point of a ‘Pre-Delivery Inspection’. The issue with the paint is hard to comment on, without being able to inspect the finish before, and after the damage had occurred. If one was to speculate, you could assume that the lacquer layer was on insufficient thickness, had insufficient adhesion (this can be caused by a plethora of factors), or has not had a ‘2K’ lacquer applied (which I would assume to be the most likely cause. Hopefully your experience with the bike improves (though it’s good that you’ve enjoyed the way the bike actually behaves), as these bikes have good potential - it is the experience that we crave, after all 😁 On a side note, though - keep posting. The KZbin Algorithm will act in your favour if you’re consistently posting videos. You’re one of the first to give a ‘real world experience’ of these bikes. Capitalise on it to fuel your channels outreach, and development 👍
@RuffestКүн бұрын

No It's not. I've got one and it's flawless. Obviously makes sense to wrap iti in protective film from the outset. I did mine with the Invis kit prior to hitting the trails. Paint is perfect. 👌
@RuffestКүн бұрын
The paint is far from perfect in my opinion. I've had plenty bikes and this is the worst. Yes invis stops it being scratched but it's far from the quality of other brands.
@shaneycarter8803Күн бұрын
@@Ruffest don't agree. I've had loads of bikes too in my 25+ years of riding and building bikes. The paint quality is as good as most. It's a metallic silver with a clear coat over the base. I enquired with Invis prior to receiving my Amflow on the he 13th November. They responded by stating they were on with templating the upcoming kits and said they would notify me when ready. I received the kit before the bike arrived, ready for fitting. Should you have fitted this kit prior to taking it out and dropping a number of times, the paint would still be perfect.
@RuffestКүн бұрын
@shaneycarter8803 literally none of the worst scratches are from dropping it. Obviously mine must be different to yours because I can scratch the top layers off with my nail. It's a fact that it's the worst paint I've ever had on any bike. My bike was due for delivery after Xmas so it caught me out. Am I bothered about the scratch no because it's going to get some hammer anyway but without seeing it in person you won't understand how poor it is. Maybe I got a bad one. Wouldn't be the first time.
@shaneycarter8803Күн бұрын
@@Ruffest ahh well that doesn't seem right pal. I stripped the bike down completely as I fitted different brakes and the reverb axs, so removed the motor and battery. The paint is of a decent thickness and looking inside the frame the coverage on my was really good.
