I remember I recorded footage of this games opening on VHS just because I loved it so much lol I get *why* Goemon games weren't really as big a thing in the west but I kinda wish we got more of these games, I played this game to death even if my 8 year old American brain that had never really been exposed to Japanese media had absolutely no idea what the hell was going on

I love this song. Absolutely love it. It's everything to like in typical Super Robot stuff, but it's silly. Abjectly, irreverently, and unashamedly silly. It's simultaneously a parody and a love letter to everything Super Robot. Mizuki-san, you will be missed.

played this in the late 2000s and the early 2010s cuz I didn't get any of the recent game consoles and stuff, hell not even internet and this is a huge part of my childhood. I spend alot of time thinking about it. I wish it would get a remake or get more traction and attention in the west it's just a brilliant piece of media overall
