The fact that there is a channel on KZbin already making videos using Google AI's NotebookLM audio overview feature is wild. 22 Viers for 290 subscribers. Wow...

Glad to hear that. What are you looking to build with C++ or what type of roles you interested in?
@voiceofreason589318 күн бұрын
@@algocademy.podcast I'm planning on getting into parallel programming and have a few interests. One of the main ones is building devices and systems that make the most of current technological capabilities (something I think most of the big players aren't doing. So things like: natural language processing, gesture control, computer vision, agents etc. I'm aware of one company doing some of that at the enterprise level and serving aerospace firms, but I think it would be good to bring that to the world (consumer-side) more broadly. My other Interests include, AI, secure, fast, decentralised and user-friendly networks for trade and finance; and gamified education. I'll be studying Maths (and potentially physics time allowing) alongside C++, as my research suggests that Maths in particular, will be really helpful for the more advanced stuff down the line. The immediate priority is to create the time to apply to this by getting a flexible wfh role, which allows me to work on C++ and Maths for several hours a day. Currently prepping to apply for one now.

What's the point of these video if you don't show anything?! The same mistake that the guy you are talking about made. Lol.
@algocademy.podcastАй бұрын
The videos are meant to discuss issues without specific cases. For example here it talks about being able to explain the thought process Or writing poor quality code (using one letter variables, overcomplicated code)
@offilawNooneАй бұрын
@@algocademy.podcast In real life it's all about specifics and edge cases though. More you show, better the neural pathways are made. On the web we are already limited to two senses only and you decided to cut in half from the get-go. Bad decision imho.

Love it. You guys used notepadLM to create the audio. So funny! What I'm waiting for is a better integration of SVG into canvas. I need to be able to produce good graphics along with clean equations for documentation and also code. The "create a video" tools (offered in GPTs app), are neat, but need to have the ability to preview and work with the end product inside a single interface. It'll all come. Might take a few years...
