If you love the world build a belt around the globe using minimal land engineering theories and plate tectonics to minimize future alterations that need to be revised so that the belt moves into position around the equator.

Interesting video, it's nice to hear that these ideas, which I have read about, are being properly researched to provide answers to governments and communities. What about seaweed restorations, such as sea grass or kelp, which I have heard also store carbon well?

Thanks for watching, we're glad to hear you enjoyed our extended interview with Steve. That's a great question, and you're absolutely correct - seagrass and seaweed both have fantastic natural carbon storage abilities. We've highlighted many of these nature-based solutions at RE:TV over the years. First od all, we must focus on stopping burning any stuff at crazy rate, as we do 150 years. And then the best carbon removal process is photosynthesis. But as long as we emit more than 40 billion tuns of CO2 EACH YEAR, carbon removal from atmosphere using methods above has minuscule effect so far.

Thanks for watching. You raise an interesting point - greenhouse gas removal does not replace our urgent need to cut global emissions, but it can begin to address the damage that's already been done. Nature-based carbon removal techniques can also deliver co-benefits like restoring ecosystems and supporting biodiversity. Each solution has a vital role to play as we work to build a sustainable future 🌱

I love this. I had to click and see if carbon capture was still being regarded as feasible. Not only is it not mentioned, but there are five other methods being discussed. And a few synergistic relationships to explore at that! Well done!

Thanks for watching. Steve has so many fascinating insights to share on the topic of GGR. Carbon capture doesn't replace the urgent need to reduce emissions, but it's still an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to addressing climate change.

That´s a important initiative, we need more information and data about carbon removal!

Absolutely. Accurate data about greenhouse gas removal unlocks opportunity on so many levels. It helps us understand how to successfully scale each technique, and it can also inform policy makers seeking to create economic incentives 🤝

What rubbish her indigenous group may possibly have not lived there from the beginning of human existence and whilst that is most unlikely they have lived through many climatic changes whilst Isolation over so many years produces retardation

Why not collaborate with other startups using carbon as an asset to produce polymers to substitute plastic or other products by removing carbon dioxide from the ocean water collected as well as from the atmosphere. This would reduce the risk of ocean acidification upon diluting with ocean water once placed back into the ocean.

The world economic forum is a bunch of people that are hiding a bunch of truth about the world! they own all the oldest ancient places in the world like golbeki tepe! and they're not allowing any more research or archaeological research to be done... WHY??? i don't trust them! this sounds great but I feel it's bs
