Do you need to pay for each device? So yolobox, ndi camera and ipad= 99×3=$297. What's the use to have it on an old ipad since even the camera on it is not good. Or did you do it for demo? Thanks for the video.

With the NDI license on YoloBox I believe you can connect three NDI devices at the same time. I used the old ipad cause it was the only apple device that worked with the NDI app. Thank you for watching the video.

Thank you, this was so helpful! I'm just curious, is there a benefit to using this approach vs. selecting the clips > Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence?

With that method it seems that you need to have all the clips that need to be in that sequence already pre organized together in a bin, and sometimes the audio syncing tool doesn't work so then if you use that way it won't bring the clip it can't sync into the multicam sequence. Then you have to bring it in and sync manually, so in the end it doesn't really save any time. Thats why I do the method I do.

If you are wondering if you can use a wireless video system with the yolobox you totally can. It just may have some delay in the audio and video of that input depending on the wireless system you have. You will want to get one that has little to no latency.

NDI is NOT "wireless technology." Matter of fact, it works FAR better wired. Really wish the Yolobox had a 2.5 gbps ethernet NIC, for the lower latency, and higher bandwidth.

I have the Yolobox Ultra and am a Dealer. For over four months now testing out the device I feel totally scammed by the false advertising feature claims. The company and distributor blantly lie about features they know do not work, are buggy and unreliable. Then there are constant excuses that the features they advertise as working will be fixed in an update. Features listed in this video that do not work and have never worked on my unit: 6. Auto-Switching (Often is janky in my long term tests and not smooth, transitions are not smooth, un-usable feature full of bugs) The YoloBox Ultra offers seamless auto-switching capabilities, allowing users to effortlessly transition between multiple camera angles. Whether you’re covering an event or hosting a live stream, the auto-switching feature ensures smooth transitions and a professional-looking production. 8. Guest Caller Integration - (Does not work, horrible audio quality for the remote caller!) One standout feature of the YoloBox Ultra is its ability to bring in live guest callers during streams (via bring live stream and Invite Guests feature). These features open up endless possibilities for interviews, remote collaborations, and interactive content, allowing users to engage with their audience in new and exciting ways. 10. Image Overlays and Multimedia Integration (The purposefully omit that you can only use one (1) single image in a template. My customer pointed this out when they tried to add four product images to a template and the Yolobox Ulra interface asks to add for Images!! What a joke and a scam, my customer is now returning their unit and has caused me considerable embarassment. I am not going to go on with this buggy product that is pushed on to customers with false advertising. Any youtuber who tries to promote the Yolobox Ultra and make money via Affiliate Links will be sent to the FTC and may face local and federal lawsuits. Be warned.

@jekwempu the yolobox doesn't have a way to play audio files on their own. You would need to make the mp3 file into a mp4 video file. Also there isn't a option to stream from Spotify, etc. One thing I can think of is if you bring the audio in from a external source like a mp3 player/smartphone. You can use the headphone out of the device and plug it into the line or mic jack of the yolobox. Then you can mix in that audio source in the audio mixer panel. Also you can bring in digital audio video the usb ports if the audio playing device supports it.

Recently my company got a brand new insta 360 Pro 2, I'm looking for accessories like a tridpod or something like that and a backpack so I can attach the Pro 2, put in on the backpack, then put on the backpack and go around and record in order to upload that to Google Street View. if you use rtmp from instagram and say the direct to fb or youtube option, you could live stream at the same time to both platforms. I believe you can stream to 3 destinations at once in horizontal mode. In vertical mode you can stream to 2 destinations at once, but not using rtmp.

I've also own(ed) all three of these devices! Yolobox Ultra, in my opinion, is the current "Gold Standard". I've tried the Magewell Director Mini, and while it has similar capabilities as the Ultra, the Ultra had more and it's a more mature device. Great comparison and video. A timely topic!

I tested it with 7 video sources and 3 graphic overlays while recording & streaming and it lasted 3.5 hours on internal battery. Haven't tried with just one source and one graphic

I have the ultra and the quality on the vertical livestream is very poor ! Especially on TikTok ! It looks worse than on my iPhone 11. I've tried with many different cameras (A7SIII, Direct from OBS, iPhone 15 etc..) Any luck on your end or do you have the same results ?

Honestly I was going direct from the camera so wasn't controlling the bit rate ! Same with OBS I was doing the "Projector" function via HDMI. USBC was also no bueno ! It's a shame and for 2k I'm gonna try and get a refund cuz it just looks bad. :/@@FilmSandwich

It just depends. If the atem has everything you want/need then you are probably good. Although I think the YoloBox does some things the atem doesn't plus it's a all in one system as with atem you need a monitor. Really at this point with all the options out there for live streaming it's more preference than anything else.

The ATEM extreme does not output directly to Instagram or TikTok the same way this does, it also only streams and records in 1080p the Yolobox Ultra streams and record up to 4K 60. To do a lot of things in the ATEM you need a computer, like adding special graphics and customizing the supersource, or even inviting remote guests, with the Yolobox Ultra you can do a lot just with the unit and the cameras. The ATEM does not receive NDI directly and you cannot use a Webcam without something like the Obsbot USB to HDMI converter. The atem is designed to work with BMD cameras Ina more "professional" setting while the Yolobox is more of a prosumer type of device (but a very capable one). At the end of the day it all depends on your needs

360 cameras can also be used to capture all angles at once and re-frame the angle you want to show in post production. Which is what I did here to get a unique perspective of bts. I have some other full 360 videos on my channel if you want some 360 content to watch.
