@@iplaymytele The reason I said that about the pick guard I took mine off. I saw some other guy online Bobby. He took his off. It just makes it look more 1930s. I think it’s easy to do just use a hairdryer heat it up slowly and it’ll peel right off.

@@Rico-vms I don’t see why Not , if the Motor you are Replacing, ( was of a similar size, “ 22hp “ ) your stump grinder would have to have a separate fuel tank because this motor has no fuel tank on top of it, but it is extremely powerful…..!

@@iplaymytele Im replacing a kohler ch20 from 2002, I think they actually discontinued the ch20, I just don’t have the money to spend on a brand new horizontal shaft motor at the moment, but yes I have a elk behind stump grinder hydrostatic transmission, key start, clutch engage, it was a good strong running motor till the head gaskets blew got it fixed then messed up again l.

@@iplaymytele thanks for the input was jw, because I’ve seen many videos say it’s cheap motor not reliable this that just wanted hood input thanks and yes I have a gas tank in my machine separate just needs that new engine, when the old one was In hood condition it would maul straight through stumps and roots. And yea best way to explain set up is a rayco rg 25 but with a 20 jp kohler.

He was a phenomenal ukulele player, he also was pretty good on harmonica..! In fact he played harp on a couple albums couple 45s and several other recordings...! I remember when I was little he messed around with electric guitar mandolin and banjo... but he was never what you would call proficient at them....! It didn’t bother him because I could play different instruments and he kind of felt like that was the same thing as him playing them after all I was his son, and basically part of him...❤️🙏🎶❤️

@@endo-poptart I found most of the time when doing these conversions , You do not need to ground the strings , In a rare occasion you may get some Hum… 🤔 If you are feeling real sporty …., 👀 You can put a small hole on the end of the guitar to run a ground wire to the new metal tailpiece which will ground all the strings, but this is not really necessary in most cases….👍🏻😎

Going to use this engine on my Bad Boy zero turn when the Kawasaki wears out. As of now I am on year 8 and its still strong, but the time is coming when it will wear out and this engine above is about a grand cheaper. The Kawasaki is a 720 cc engine though, but I think that will power the mower just fine. Ill have the Kawasaki rebuilt and use it on a Go-Kart or something.

@@Rico-vms I would be very careful and read up on something like that you go to fooling around with a machine like that could be dangerous. They probably have things designed for certain torque tolerances. Probably would be fine, but I would research before I did something that could be dangerous with a tool like that.

@@JasPlun I got a heavy duty walk behind stump grinder, had a 20 hp engine on it, it went out on me losing power so I just wanna replace with something cheap atm, I just hear they are not reliable this that, it’s a decent size stump grinder for a walk behind it has a 14 inch cutting wheel on it.

@@Rico-vms They will not last as long as a Kawasaki or Briggs Vanguard thats for sure, but if you service them well change that oil more often and keep the air cleaner clean they can last awhile and for the money they are good short term options. If its for something commercial skip a chinese made engine go for a Kawasaki, Kholer Command, or Honda.

It's a fine job, and I have nothing against modifications, but I'm going to go against popular opinion here and say that in my mind those gold tuners look too big and nasty, and the tailpiece is horrible. You've turned a cute guitar into a gaudy monster. Completely over the top and not suited to the original. Just sayin'...

@@cliffdiver1942 😹😹😹 … I have two of them one fretless one fretted …, and play them all the time I record with the fretless Bass quite often… Five of my Bass students also have the Glarry Bass and nobody has complained about them….! I’m sorry it does not work for you …🤔 for the money I think they are fine base Guitar…! They play good they sound good…! All bass guitars are pretty much neck heavy , my regular precision is neck heavy and so are my two music Man Basses … Not as neck, heavy as , the small body of Glarry but that does not keep people from playing them…. Again, I am always setting down when I am playing my bass most of the time ….

The old speaker was blown, and other small issues that I was able to figure out and take care of..👍🏻 It will rock and roll for sure…! it reminds me of my youth growing up playing through amps like this whenever possible…! It is way better than my first amplifier …🙏🏻👍🏻🤔

Hey all - it's been two years. I figured I'd jump on here and update everyone on this project guitar Jeff tricked out for me. It's still awesome! Fun as heck as I'm developing my slide skills. Sound is great. Durability is great. Electronics are great. If I had it to do all over again, I'd do it all over again! Thanks again, Jeff. Keep rockin'. @@iplaymytele Yeah I wondered about that with the new bridge. Should still be some good options for you. Honestly, the tuners and electronics upgrades you do are worth it, though the dobro tailpieces is also very groovy.
