Teen Titans Go isn’t that bad after all. We just don’t realize that The Titans have been into existence since 1964. There have been also a few superhero shows with wacky characters prior to GO (you know Freakazoid and The Tick?).

I wouldn’t call the new _DuckTales_ as shining an achievement as you paint it. Personal opinion and all but it has a lot to be desired or reconsidered in the overall design and/or narrative. _He-Ra and the Princesses of Girl-Power\ did _not_ restore anybody that I know’s faith. Most people expressed how she looked like a dude and there were other woke elements that kept people away. _The Looney Tunes Show (2011)_ is a bit overrated. The idea of “Looney Tunes meets Seinfeld” is mid at best and I abhor what they did to Lola. There are far better ways to handle a character that people call “uninteresting” because she’s mostly a sexy lamp or something. The LT series following this one (the one with the shitty art style) proved that by making Lola more in line with Bugs. And as far as the _Seinfeld_ parallels go, Elaine based her comedy on being a Dunning-Krugeresque snob. This Lola is rich so make her naive to the middle class real world which can be a wellspring of humor with who/what she interacts with. How is “Season 5” of _Samurai Jack_ a “reboot”?!😟 _ThunderCats_ was my favorite and the only issue I had was how they dealt with Pumyra especially since it came at the unfortunate end.☹

Let’s not forget the whole _Teen Titans Go Away_ crossover with _ThurnderCraps Roar_ that trollishly gave a big 🖕🏼to the 2011 _ThunderCats_ which was far superior to anything on this list. Having never watched the _Ben 10_ franchise, and seeing the various art shifts each era, the reboot shown here doesn’t look that horrible. But I guess it’s all in the actual experience and not clear to the outside observer.🫤🧐

Girlfriend IS terrible, for sure...but The Hero is among one of the worst purely because of what Nicole and Anais did to the boys. Moreover, Richard is most certainly NOT worthy of the title of "hero"

I checked out Friendship is Magic fully expecting to either hate it, or never give it a second thought. Imagine my shock when the show got more laughs out of me than almost anything else up to that point. And Thundercats 2011 was such a good show and deserved so much better than it got. Just those episodes taking us into ancient history, the creation of the Sword of Omens, the freaking Petlars! The only thing about the show I didn't like was probably Tygra's tendency to become an instant expert at shit he'd never encountered before... and the fact that it got yanked for Legends of F**king Chima!

PPGZ was targeted towards Japanese audience, not Americans.

I feel like many corporations would rather recycle repetitive art styles and writing instead of "risking" investing in new and unique ideas. Back in the day the animaitons industry was new and everyone was experementing. But now it's seen as an investment opportunity more than art.

I'll add a couple that I didn't watch but was put off by the ads I saw. First is the 2017-2020 Spider-Man. I saw a couple episodes during a flight. I really disliked Peter. He came off as whiny and annoying. I enjoyed all the previous Spider-Man animated series I watched, all the way through Ultimate Spider-Man. But this one I didn't care for. Second is Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I grew up on the original series and the 2003-2009 series is my all-time favorite TV show. I didn't catch much of the 2012-2017 Nickelodeon series, but I enjoyed the episodes I did see. The animation and art for Rise looked really goofy to me so I haven't bothered watching it. I enjoyed Mutant Mayhem so I might try to watch Tales of the TMNT if I get some time...

The only ones that are reboots here are Thundercats and Ducktales, maybe also MLP: FiM and She-Ra (if they aren't spin-offs or adaptations).
