It’s me 🙋‍♂️ I forgot to put it my shift rod and that apparently requires dropping the engine 🤷 whoops

Doing a lot of work this weekend! Fingers crossed I can get her running again soon!

I am very guilty of this… I’ve had a lot of mixed feelings working on the bus recently. When I first started posting about my project, I was losing my job, planning a wedding and trying to figure out my direction in life. I had an opportunity to do some really cool things with Green that I wouldn’t have been able to do elsewhere so I decided to strip her down and go for it. Things ended up not panning out the way I’d hoped and the position I’ve put myself and my family in is tough at the moment. However, things have a way of working out, so I’ll be taking my time from now on and doing things right (after my wedding next week!)

That appears to be a proportioning valve. Also you really out to replace the break hoses while you have it apart.

Man maybe my comment it's worthless for you but 40 bucks in undercounting saves a ton of problems in the future maybe you'll consider doing it keep it up

25 days until I get married and drive away in our vw bus! Brake system is in (for the most part) Still need to add a fluid reservoir and attach the pedal but that’s small compared to what we got done today! Day 15 of turning my vw bus into a camper to travel the country in! Got the bus to a new location after my time working at Steve’s shop. Managed to get the engine and transmission installed at the shop which is going to make everything easier in the long run. Since we’re going backwards and reinstalling things I’m going to pause my series here and do some fun videos about me reinstalling different systems! Sandblasting this weekend did NOT go according to plan… or really go at all. Despite my best efforts to work with the system I had, I was barely able to do much sand blasting at all. I did end up getting a full refund for the rental though which is nice. #day12 of turning my #vwbus into a camper to cross the country in! Removed all of my license plates from the back as well as a small strip of the patchwork floor the previous owner put in. I have never seen the original cargo floor until now and I’m pleasantly surprised to see the middle is fairly intact! There is no way to tell how solid that floor is until after sandblasting so I don’t expect to be keeping any of it at the moment. Had six 65-75 V-Dubs at one point back in HS in the 90's with only one running engine. I could wake up before school and decide which bug, micro, or camper I wanted to drive that day and swap that motor in under an hour.

Day 8 in the books! Still sad I couldn’t sandblast this weekend but we did find a new front suspension for Green! If I need any more parts, I now have a private dealer! Thanks to The Lucky Rabbit in Hattiesburg for giving me a great lead on parts! #vwbus #vanbuild #vanlife #vw #day8

Day 7.5 of turning my Vw Bus into a camper to cross the country in! The plans for sandblasting and priming this weekend have been delayed due to bad weather ALL WEEKEND 😔 But we are going to take this opportunity to strip more off of Green so we can really get all that rust gone! Found someone who has a used front suspension beam fingers crossed it’s in good condition because I’m going over tomorrow to get. #vwbus #vanbuild #vanlife
