try to set to factory setting by pressing reset button or try power and home buttons at the same time until it reacts. Remove also battery if you have a good access on it.

lods kung ang mother board ay shorted, mataas ang current or yung amps. Kung ang amps niya ay more than 4amps tanggalin niyo agad ang charger dahil pwede niyang ma overload ang schematic at mararamdaman mo na umiinit ang charging cable na nakasaksak sa unit.

Hi, thanks for sharing. I own ONKYO TX NR-676 receiver and have same problems, all physical buttons are not working, including volume rotating button, Power on/off button, I can't switch all function modes, even using remote control and still no any respond. At first I thought it was my Remote broken, but after push any buttons on the remote, the remote indicator light is on and flashing. I use my receivers decent, and very seldom push the physical buttons. All the time, I always using the remote control to turn on/off, volume up/down, switch one function to another function . Then I bought it to Authorized Service Center, after they checked for two couple weeks, I got informed, It might be the HDMI board that got problem, but because they said this type is older version, they have to check to ONKYO Center first in Japan whether that HDMI board are still available or not. Until now I still doubt the problem is HDMI board. From what I see on your video, the main problem was the microswitches. Is that possible my Onkyo have the same problem as yours? And could you tell me the price for replacing those microswitches with the new ones? And if I have to replace the HDMI board as informed by ONKYO technician, is that worth it? Or should buy a new one? I asked them about the price, but they still didn't know yet....Thanks and god bless you...

Does your unit turns-on if so, what is in the display? There is a chance that there is a problem from the control system and not from the hdmi board. If the HDMI board causing the control system fails, just isolate the HDMI board and it will solve the problem.

@@beingcheapdiytechniques yes, my Receiver turnes on, I can't turn it off manually, instead of unplugged the power cable from socket. There was no any error messages on the display. It stays the last where I positioned it in TV function, and I can't switch it to other functions, like Radio, DVD, etc. I got the same opinion as you are after watched your video. I didn't know why they concluded that my HDMI board is the problem. Should I take it to other technician for second opinion? This authorized staff said to me, they are just new for being ONKYO dsitributor in my country and never had any ONKYO receivers for repairing or spare part replacement...
