Hi I really do love your dress and I want to make one for myself but I’m confused about the neckline, after you placed your bodice pattern and cut out the neckline , nothing else was done to the neckline, I’m wondering after double folding the top edge before shirring and then cutting out my neckline wouldn’t it loosen

Hi thanks so much, yes make sure to cut out the neck line of the dress such that the double folded section of the fabric becomes the neckline. Mine hasn’t lost its stretch around the neckline so it should work out🙂!!

❤ thanks a lot, i almost gave up shiring, its been 7 yrs i use my brother sewing machine, tried shiring several times but no luck, this video helped me to make my cami dress which needs shiring on the back top part) 😊 i am very happy today, its an easy method
