Sylvesters Customs has a few vids on them. Ryan Evans from Counts Kustoms has a short youtube vid praising them. And Tyler Krause has a couple websites about them....the straightness of bodywork on an acrylic-blocked car is surreal in person. And you can make your own blocks from scratch, if you want....But I bought a 16" (1/4" thick) from Lucky Blocks. I duct-taped old 6" Durablocks to either end to give me something to hold on to. You can work magic very quickly with mastering a spline and acrylic blocks. Try them.

I have similar problem with my digital readout same for my PRNDL on my 1998 chevy blazer and miles, it's intermittent. I sent it out to jeffescortlx (youtube) he'll fix the gages when it is wobbly. He'll put special oil inject in the motor to get them stable. I trust his work as ive sent out my other 05 cluster for my silverado for repairs, he fixed my readout and stepper motors. The repair cost $130 per cluster, damn worth it.

Great Job! I tried OMNI base clear and had some problems with the clear peeling. Probably just me. What is this color and is there any metallic in it? I have a 66 Chevelle that I am going to paint soon, Maybe I will give OMNI another try. Single stage paint may be better for a DIY paint job. I really like your channel, Don't change a thing. Eric
@RoseberrysrelicsАй бұрын
Thank you Eric I really appreciate it. The Color is ermine white it was a factory color the oem code is 972. It s a solid white no metallic. If you are doing a solid color you can’t go wrong with single stage urethane. I would suggest doing base clear for anything with metallic. Thank you for watching much appreciated.

My Dad could do a paint job like that in our carport which he had enclosed into a garage and the space was smaller but he paid attention to detail and preparation as you did. It takes patience and adherence to known methods of refinishing automobiles. You show that a quality paint job can be accomplished on a vehicle and that vehicle can be driven on a daily basis without having to spend an excessive amount of money. For beginners it boils down to the satisfaction that the vehicle will look good and be useful for transportation and of course protection from the elements. 🥸👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
