I remember having conversation about Nithin back in 2012-13 when he started having hit movies again and my Andhra friend was like "Veedu inka radu anukunna malli enduku vachado".. Similarly it took some strong Telangana leadership and systemic push to make Telangana telugu mainstream. But back in 2016 - 17 when Vijay Devarakonda (or even Shekhar Kammula for that matter) came on to the scene and started conversing or writing dialogues in movies in Telangana telugu, there was a lot of scoffing and contempt at those people. But now it has become mainstream and "cool". People have now become accepting, but the inertia in the movie space like with critics and media is what is being pointed out here subtly by Ragadi is what I feel. They are still torn with Siddhu Jonnalagadda since he's from Hyderabad but has strong roots in Andhra but maintains Telangana Telugu well in movies so they're just confused with him so he doesn't yet attrack much negativity haha!
