"Long Hood Forward" L356 @1:00 goes a l-o-n-g way with me, WWOT...🎺"blaaaah, blaaaah, BLAT, blaaaahhhhh"🎶🎶🎶!! What a (real) train meet that follows @1:40...Wow😲...here comes the M634 "Trash Flyer", like no other!!! It's a "Berry Road Bonanza"!! 👏👏 Interesting "Fallen Flag" boxcar @13:11...painted-out areas suggest St. Joe Route??? Bay Line (boxcar) jumps in @14:03. Selkirk...(and WWOT)...you're the best 👍👍

I looked up, on Google, "Norfolk Southern AC traction motor, hookup," to see what size wire they were using for the three traction motor leads and the ground wire. I suspected 775-24 cable for the three phase leads, coming off the motor, and #8 AWG for the Ground wire, but instead, the first choice listed on Google, was YOUR channel. (of which I enjoy-joyed watching). I worked for Southern Railway, then for Norfolk Southern, (after the merger), for almost 38 years as an Electrician. I've been inside outside on top of and underneath every aspect of the locomotives, from Maintenance to Rewire. I've had crews break my BLUE FLAG PROTECTION by picking up engines I was working on top of and underneath, and I rode on top of a Traction Motor, close to the fuel tank, a tad over a mile at about 20mph. It literally scared the crap out of me and I peed my pants. I thought I was dead several times. (That one was when an unscrupulous boss took down my Blue flag protection to better his train building regimen. (((He got off scott-free)) I'm saying all that to assure you, I've experienced the DANGERS of Railroad Operations. Our shop went from world class operations to almost an outlying facility status in one decade, due to politics. As our people retire, the company added those folks' responsibilities on everyone else. They're trying to make a craft that can do everything, instead of several crafts, ie Electricians, Machinists, BOILERMAKERS, Pipe fitters, Carmen, Laborers, Maintenance of Way, (they work on the tracks and bridges), then the crews, Conductor, (they are in charge of the train and it's crew), Engineer, Fireman, (a Crewman/Laborer, helper), Switchman, (he lines switches and sites them, approaching, as correct, and if they're wrong, he will stop the Engineer and go down and throw that switch. However most line of road switches are remote controlled thru operations towers at facilities.) You have some good footage here. I'm going to SUB. Would you look into the possibility of visiting a diesel shop on one of their OPEN HOUSE DAYS, and get some internal footage. It is so much more interesting than just watching it pulling freight. That's good, but it's just the gravy spread over the big biscuit, so to speak. THANKS AGAIN !!!
