Question: have you ever played O-Line? Because you obviously dont understand pass block assignment. If there is a blitz 4+ men rushing than its the qb to alert the rusher to change the pass block assignment.

I’m happy for commanders fans, they haven’t been able to have this much fun since prime rg3. O line definitely needs some improvement since he’s on the thinner side they can’t let him take those hits. Definitely gonna be fun watching him own the cowboys for the next decade or so lol

The more I see of Brock Purdy, the more he reminds me of Tom Brady, or of the most elite of them all. He's composed, confident and accurate when throwing in the pocket and can scramble well and is typically accurate when throwing on the run. I'm a life long KC Chiefs fan, but was very impressed with him in the Super Bowl against the Chiefs. I'd say he's already a top 3 QA, in fact, right there with the best of the best in the league and I'd say already a contender for the Hall of Fame, Mr. Irrelevant indeed!

Told everybody going into the draft, Caleb is gonna be a bust! Said I would have taken Penix if I needed a QB! Caleb is cocky and arrogant! Huge primadonna! Any guy that cries on his mom’s shoulder like a little 2 year old sissy girl for losing a game that wasn’t even crazy important and paints nails💅 should not be your franchise QB!! Not the best arm, timing terrible with WRs and try’s to make something out of nothing when it’s not there wayyyy too much! Never understood all the hype on this kid. I know lots of you are gonna say I’m an idiot or I’m just saying this now because Caleb has looked terrible his 1st 2 games but idc.

Bagent will be QB1 eventually. Just a matter of time. His poise, decision making under pressure, and intangibles are evident. Cream always rises to the top. DJ Moore knows it too….😏

bears can't develop quarterbacks and USC quarterbacks don't have a good track record of success in the NFL. I will also say he only had 1 play caller in college, Lincoln Riley

Yeah he throws it to his first read every single time because he has 1 second to make a play before the o line crumbles cause they fucking suck. He’d have more time to read the field if he was getting destroyed every single play

The first half he seemed more confident & knew where he wanted to go with the ball. But once Houston started to blitz they couldn’t/didn’t adjust any. Our o line is a damn train wreck & is going to be what gets CW hurt at some point if he keep taking these big shots. If by week 4 maybe 5 if he isn’t taking bigger step & showing improvement I’m going to start to worry. 🐻⬇️

I did see a very big difference in Caleb between week one and last night. He seemed to me a little more confident and moved a lot better than in week 1. His o line does need to play better, but there were some throws he should have been able to make. Even with the picks I think he played noticeably better. He should be able to keep this up and we should see him get into rhythm

The amount of times I get told Purdy is a system QB I mention the numbers he was able to put up along with other QBs numbers compared to Brock's. I get it sure he's on a talented team but how come we didn't see Jimmy put crazy numbers and how did Trey not thrive as a duel threat QB. Purdy goes through his reads very well his arm accuracy is something that no one talks about especially after his injury in the NFC championship against Philadelphia. What's more crazy is that most people love an underdog but discredit him because the situation he was put in but last pick in the draft and QB3 going in his rookie year he played like the number one option as the THIRD option as the last pick putting numbers up that no other QB was able to do in that locker room!!! I truly believe he can take them to another Super Bowl and take care of business. Plus I've watched some of his college film and he's doing what he's doing in the NFL with his arm and reads sure he played at Iowa St but how many players have we seen from relatively smaller schools and still make a name for themselves in the NFL.

Today's game vs the Vikings wasn't the best game for him but to say he's only a product of the system is wild to me. You can have a legit great QB but if he has shitty coaches and players all around him that QB isn't going to look great. If Patrick Mahomes had shitty players and coaches on KC he would most likely play like ass.

Purdy is only in year 3. Wow. I think what confuses people is that is he's not a showman. He doesn't have the genius of Mahomes, the power of Lamar Jackson, or the strength of Allen. But he has guile and incredible speed of reaction. Compared to contempraries like Dan Fouts or Dan Marino, Joe Montana was skinny, had a weak arm, and was more of a 'game manager.' Who got the rings? Go Niners.

The disrespect towards this kid is honestly fucking Crazy. I’m a packers fan, It’s literally only because he’s Mr irrelevant that this is a thing. If he was even a 5th rounder or not playing in a Shanahan Offence he’d be considered an elite Quarterback. He had 4200 Passing Yards and 31 touchdowns with the best running game in the league. Time to put some respect on his name.

The amount of quarterbacks that has accomplished what he’s done in their first three seasons being picked where he was picked from alone, puts him in an elite category, perhaps on his own. I think you can say that without even arguing whether he’s better than any other quarterback in the NFL.

Sadly he won’t get recognition until he does it without all his weapons. Sadly all these commentators seem to forget that elite qb’s need elite weapons in order to perform so the moment we lose someone and he fails that’s gonna be their justification. Oh and we forgot rain rainy situations brick is not a fan off he always struggled with a wet ball
