This is cute and I'm already thinking of ways I'd want to customize it to fit into my steampunk doll mansion... can you tell me why you use hot glue to join flat cardboard pieces or add wallpaper? I can see where it would be helpful on corner joints, but on flat pieces my first instinct would be white glue or rubber contact cement - both for the more even coverage and because it gives me another minute or so to get everything lined up right. Is there something about hot glue I'm missing, or is this just personal preference and what you're comfortable with?
