I think people had to certainly consider just going ahead and purchasing the chase card vs gambling to get it. However, I also understand the fun of ripping the packs and trying that way. Guess it just depends on the goals / budget of the person.

Since my location is in countryside , access in pokemon cards is hard, i need to buy it on local online shop and online shops here raise the price of sets like 151 so high since restocks dont matter if you are a local online shop. I cannot buy internationally since shipping is too much to pay

I think it appeals to all audiences. The chase cards for the people that can afford it, the fun of opening packs, to even pulling the $1-2 ex cards.
