Definitely trying this. I always want to wear my hair down but it's too oily and too curly so I waste so much time flat ironing it. This seems perfect. Thanks for sharing.

This salon is located in Winter Park right off of I-4 and is about 10-15 minutes north of Downtown Orlando. It’s Salon Ciseaux, if you would like to put it into your GPS to get an exact distance from where you are 🤗 hope that helped.

I have the same color and type of hair as you do. What kind of moisturizer do you use and whether you use LOC or LCO method? Thanks
@lyasiainthecity
@lyasiainthecity Жыл бұрын
The moisturizer that I used in this video is a good one. I’ve used so many great moisturizers that I highlight in different videos of mine. Always using something different. I haven’t done the LOC or LCO method in years. My routine is usually a leave in and whatever styling cream and gel of my choice for that day. I don’t really use oils at all.

Please consider finger detangling with oil on dry hair before you shampoo. OIls are great for slip, protect hair from hygral fatigue, and make detangling so much easier and faster than detangling on wet hair with conditioner. The hair is most fragile when wet, so you might be breaking your hair off in the long term if you detangle when wet. I resisted the prepoo for years, but I was so wrong to think it would add time to my wash day. Prepoo and finger detangling with fractionan=ted coconut oil shaved 1 hour from wash day. Use any oil you prefer. Also, hair porosity is the most important thing to learn about your hair. Once you know your porosity, you can find products that work for you and avoid becoming a product junkie.

I tried finger detangling and will never do it again 😂 lmao it’s not for me. It in fact does take longer and honestly, I don’t get breakage from the detangling when wet with conditioner. Likely because I’m gentle and not just ripping through my hair. But we all have our preferred methods. That’s why finding what works for you as an individual is so important regardless of the endless information out there. And yes, knowing your porosity is key in understanding what products can work for you. I have low porosity. Thank you so much for your suggestions. I’m glad you found a routine that’s working for you 🤗

Thank You For Sharing Your Hair Journey. I have been natl for years now but I have become lazy and just wetting it adding oil and slicking it back in a bun...So boring. This has given me the motivation to dig a little deeper and do some twist outs like I use to do. I still do not know how to do a wash n go. I am going to book an appointment with a stylist(natl) that I use to go to & get some lessons. Vanity No, Just Appreciating what God gave you.🔥💪🏾💯🌹
