I think you are too hard on yourself. If you buy things cheap and make $10 l think that's ok and it adds up. You must have done something right if it sold. People are spending less on unnecessary things also so that's another consideration. It's good to sell different priced items and make them affordable.

I call them reselling wrongs, 😂😅

I buy things at the bins and immediately regret picking them up! Sometimes they sit forever before I get around to listing them. I have tried to be more realistic when I pick up items and ask myself if I really want to list it before I leave with it in my cart. It’s a struggle sometimes!

Do you buy the tissue paper in bulk? If yes, where? I sell lots of vtg breakable & use lots of tissue paper. I buy mine at the Dollar Tree.

We always try and reuse our Amazon packs. We use them in our cooler to separate/hold little things. We have food allergies so we often pack our own snacks/food when we are out and about. So keeps everything sorted.

I tell most people in my circle what I do. I work a “career job” during the day so many of my colleagues have a bit o cash. There have been times they bring in their donations. Last week I sold a vintage fur for 450 for our admin staff 😮🎉😂. It’s good to tell people!

I have always used flat rate shipping and have never had a problem.

I’ll be honest, I don’t think my Poshmark sales have changed. I may be a unicorn. Last week wasn’t super great- but eBay has really picked up for me since all of this. So it evened out. I usually sell 1-3 items on Poshmark a day and I feel like that’s been consistent. Maybe bigger stores are noticing more issues. I have around 500 items listed.

Do shoes not get damaged in poly mailers?

I totally use recycled packaging. I inspect it and make sure it isn't in bad shape or compromised, but will happily reuse items. I had FedEx packaging that encouraged the reuse and also included a second closure adhesive strip!

Great video, but someone please lubricate the squeaky hinge on the door. It overwhelms your voice and is Very distracting!

Talking about promoted listing experiment Cayley did one with her store and she gave it a full 30 days and then compared to her previous month. I can’t remember all the deets but she did do a video on it if you are curious.

Had to since the posh changes. I'm getting a sales but nothing like I was. I'm so disappointed. Posh was my number one platform. It's a bit frustrating.

Have you tried passing on the shipping discount to the buyer? You could try that instead of having to go in and change the listing individually. My other suggestion would be to just go in and change jackets and larger clothing items to flat rate shipping. As we come into colder months that should help boost your sales, as from my experience the calculated shipping made me lose sales. If you know the size of your poly mailer you should be able to estimate shipping cost pretty easily! Hope this helps

Loved that I was able to hear the ocean throughout the video. 😊 I went through my death pile after hurricane Helene and donated a car load of clothes to those that lost everything. It was a win win. Helped me with my death pile but also was able to send some good quality clothes and jackets. Now I just have to go through my older inventory and Delist stuff that just has no interest.
