Very insightful. This is very helpful information. Have you tried any of the Moxi boots? The Jack seems nice.
@zaylaskayta5 күн бұрын
I have tried the Jack, and did consider the Jack 2 as a cheaper option to what I got, but the width didn't come standard as wide, and I found my foot was slipping out of it in a weird way, so went with these :)

Flipping brilliant tutorial - thank you! I thought I had to go up on the front wheels to turn round, but keeping the forward one flat will make it much easier. I've been practising the grapevine for ages, but still quite rubbish when going one way, the other way works out fairly well! I'll keep drilling it though! Thank you so much for your tutorials. Your skating is awesome :)
@zaylaskayta27 күн бұрын
Ah sweet thank you! I can definitely relate- the grapevine as taken a long time for me to get equal for sure, and the flat thing keeps showing up in so many moves. So many skaters are staying quite flat for so many moves (which is also because many of them go up in hardness on wheels I think too, so it gives more slide, and less need for lifting). Drill it til you kill it as they say!
@Sepster14726 күн бұрын
Yes, I had the same misunderstanding about the move.

What kind of earrings do you use? Any thoughts on opinions on a good set of bearings?
@zaylaskaytaАй бұрын
I usually use Rollerbones bearings because they are good and cost less than some others. I have also used Moxi mixtape, which I felt got dried out more easily and quickly, and Riedell Kwik Zenith which are also decent but more expensive usually than rollerbones. People also like Bones Reds a lot which I haven't tried yet, mostly due to cost.
@LeastthreeCharactersАй бұрын
thanks so much for your response. I’m actually about to buy those purple crush radar wheels that you spoke of. I’ve been using the pulse wheels which are great for gravel but not so much with dance.
@zaylaskayta29 күн бұрын
@@LeastthreeCharacters Ah nice! I think you'll probably like them! They were a game changer for me. And then starting to get more and more confident even in harder wheels on rougher surfaces

Hi wondering what size shoes do you take? What were your last skates and the size?
@zaylaskayta5 күн бұрын
@@helenmangral4241 Street shoes I wear a 7.5. The original skates I used were quite different on the sizing but they were a men's 6 and a bit too big (but not wide enough). These are a men's 5.5 and are a bit too long but not wide enough.
