Suggestion: Land based Fighters for CAP over your landscaping cruiser TF. Not a lot of planes, yeah, but better to have than not since AAA fire cannot get all the US Planes anyway.

SUGGESTION: widen out the distance between ships before making that anti-bomber cicrcular evasion maneuver. You're too damn close to one another, and adds another headache to avoid collisions. My 2-cents, Sea Tick. :)

Yep! This one was actually one of the more interesting (and better!) ones I’ve had- if we ignore the WNT starting option in the 1920 (and 1935 if I might remember right)- and yeah they _do_ get kind of boring and unflexible… but on the other hand they serve well in what the game wants it to do. Although I agree in that it could be a _bit_ better executed. Like, maybe an option to ‘replace’ old capital ship vessels? That was a historical thing in the IRL WNT but in game it is _essentially_ impossible to actually happen depending on what you can argue for in the events to form it.

PPSS: On my sub idea, a further explanation (game vs IRL): Several US capital ships were picked off later by IJN subs & sunk AFTER previous damage by IJN/ IJA aircraft attacks. Damaged ships travel slower than not, so a sub has a chance to pursue, and get the coup-de-grace shot off.

PPS: Yes Emily Float planes...I saw you sank with hi-alt bombing that one merchie ship last go around with them. :) Good job! Let the Mavis', Nells, and Betties do the low alt torp runs...only next time, try attacking by their flight formations--spread the wealth, and attack from different angles, like torp pilots were taught to do when "ganging up" on a target. Don't forget--when AI pops you into tactical situ, your planes (while slow vs fighters, etc) still circle faster than enemy ships! Take the time, patience will pay HUGE benefits in long run (ships cost more than planes, after all). Great move getting Zuiho out for more planes! I've watched other gamers run their carrier strike groups to nil planes nearly before trekking back for resupply of planes (USN & IJN players). Kudos to you!

To Takao or Mogami? Mogami & Takao's have same number of float planes aboard; Mo's DO have better armor vs aerial & surface shells; Takao's have radar vs aircraft/ surface targets, Mo's don't. Me? I'd go with Takao for the end-run result. You do you, Tick. :)
