Key to AI being usefull in capturing towns is for you as player to provide whatever support you can, on my playthroughs, i usually pick the sniper rifle and bring a car full of aa and at fuided launchers if available, recruit a a rifleman and assign him a mortar, then recruit 3 or so ai squads with transports and have them ready but hidden nearby the ao.i go the point i want to capture, i scope out the area, hit it with mortars, tell my squads to advance while i pick off what i can with sniper rifle, if you have a tank or BMP even better, just support your troops while they move in. Usually works out just fine, even if you die at some point your guys can usually finish off the rest and there is usually a good chunk left over to be assigned as garrison when you capture the place. I find AI really suck at doing anything other than basic infantry assault.

How do you get inf money?

Bots in Arma 3 is basically "stupid cheater", stealth is nearly impossible when I shot one mortar with sound suppressed weapon from 400m away, then the other mortar fired at my location instantly. Enemies have no NVG, but they can see hundreds meters away in darkness. Bot system is still broken like 2013.

if you dont mind me asking, how did you allow rebels to control APCs? i thought they can only utilize dingy pickups, and i have control of several outposts and towns in altis, and spawned in tons of nato tanks for them in the garage but to no avail.

Hey, just came across your videos. I haven’t finished it yet (sorry if you already know this), but a really interesting thing I recently found was that you can actually make more squads than the 10 it limits you to in high command by doing the High Command Transfer (I think that was the button name, it was under AI Management). They take the men from your squad and put them in their own HC squad. The squads work like normal, the only limitation that I’ve found so far is you can’t use f1-10 to select them individually, but you can select them just fine on the map, and can use ctrl-click to select multiple squads at a time (works fine with manually assigning vehicles as well). Good luck with your conquest!

Did you have the AI walk everywhere or did you have them use trucks, because when I use the trucks with high command it always makes everything broken.
