Love the Chi Xi. So far it it really good for price. The wood handle is a little heavier then your standard ul. It casts great up to 3/16 over that and it overloads.

Yeah, This rod is a perfect small jerkbait ,Crankbait rod. I also like it for 1/4 oz. spinners and bettle spins.

Other than line going into spool, inconsistant braking, handle that sucks, overbraked, sounds like a baby rattle, lopsided spooling. It's berfect. LOL bro I can throw a spool of thread mounted on top of rod. This reel is just plain bad. I know it's cheap but how much lower do we want to say somethings good. I am done wasting my money on these cdm reels. Diawa Gekka is my next one. I may buy some cdm rods but no more reels.

It is black raspberry I think. I don't think these are blackberries but whatever they are they are super yummy. And a great fishing snack.

I am kinda impressed so far. I've only had it for a little while but I love the wood handle look. This makes it a little heavier. It can throw very light. I have not seen anyone else do review on this rod. I think you might like it too. As for durability talk to me in three months. I have the mavlos plume and it is fine for small, open hook baits but is not the most sensitive rod and lacks bigger hook driving power. I'm only using chi xi for open hook baits also as it is very soft tip. The bag is worthless, but we don't buy them for the bag. :)

This combo looks great, but reel is lacking. Handing magic soul rod is very, very, good for 3G and up. It is very strong and can drive a hook home. It is very close to a shimano curado rod. It is not offered in ul. I have 6'7" light mod fast and 6'4" ml/xf.

Wandering is a little light for that. try Handing Miacle bass 6'6" light. Or Magic l ultralight 6'0". Wandering is for 1/8 and under. Enjoy

The wandering is a great rod . you would love it but it's sweetspot is 1/16 to 1/8 maybe 3/16 at heaviest. It is very limber and moderate action.

Harold, I am using an Evergreen Gizmo. It is very hard to cast on Bfs Gear. I always say i'm taking my rods for a walk because I like overkill.

I'll check it out . The Plume is an open hook only rod. it cast's under 1 gram great but struggles past 1/8 oz. It will hook nothing on Texas rigged baits due to lack of power on hook set. It is not very sensitive. Tight lines my friend. Check out Aaron's new Handing vid. Looks like my old video. Wander who told him about Handing rods. He's a real peach. :(

@@yankeelipperfishing yeah the orca rated up to 8g and it can handle it. this is a open hook rod also. lowest i casted was 2.5g and it work really good.

8g is just a little over 1/4 oz. I like those rods for micro swimbaits and micro jerkbaits. I am primarily a bass fisherman. The Majorcraft Benkai is my favorite because it does everything good except below 2g. Let's face it , if you bass fish it's mostly between 3.5 to 8 grams BFS or your grabbing a real rod. Don't shoot the messenger! The Price will come down if the market dictates it. Right now this rod is overpriced I believe 45$ would be the buy it price. The Magic L is a quality product. I have many of them which I purchased and all have performed.

This rod is truly amazing I have caught huge fish with it and it will throw the lightest of baits. I have it paired with kindom micro monster.

I fill them up but i have years of experience with baitcasters. 1/16 from top of spool should work for most applications
