Astrogation. My translation: Navigating astrologically...piloting a (pirate) ship through the stars...flying through the cosmos. It's a real word to me, now. Webster's, We've got a new word for your great dictionary. John, how could you possibly call episode 3, "fillery"?! If anything, it filled in some serious blanks in the story...now, We know that At-Attin is 1 of The 9 Jewels Of The Old Republic...The 9 Planetary World Wonders Of The Old Republic. That's very significant, given that seemingly 8 of them are gone/destroyed. Who/what led to their destruction? And, when did they occur? During different time periods in the galaxy's history? My SW Lore ears perk up, contemplating the factors that may have led to these planets' fates...Lord Darth Nihilus?...a secret astrological or meteorological weapon that was used on some of them? The after-effects of The Great Hyperspace Disaster? A fatal infestation of The Drengir? The Blight? A side effect from The Occlusion Zone? Kh'ymm has quickly become one of my new favorite characters in The SWU. She's quite the wise owl-cat in the universe, manning an observatory station on a moon that has an atmosphere...COOL. My guess is, she's around 100 to 300 years old, considering she knows A LOT about the galaxy. I hope she knows Maz Kanata, since she's been around for almost 1000 years, at this point in the galaxy's history. To hear those 2 talk about the universe over tea and crumpets or a beer, would be a hoot. 🦉Plus, We got to see some of the most beautiful visual effects, EVER. Those X-Wings looked gorgeous. Seeing new ion cannons on the bottom of the lasers, is so cool and lets Us know how the war is (supposedly) over. So, the pilot of the shot X-Wing is named, Kent? Cool. I hope We get a backstory on him, and see him more in the rest of The Mandoverse. The Onyx Cinder is becoming one of the coolest starships in The SWU. I still say, it strongly resembles the first starship We see in the 2021 trailer for the SW video game, Star Wars: Eclipse. I have a strong feeling that, by the last 2 episodes of this series, We will see Our kids' new ship bumping in to and engaging with some new and old ships within the MUCH WIDER galaxy. Still hope to see Slave I, The Millennium Falcon, and others, when all is said and done. I give this episode of, Skeleton Crew a 9 out of 10. It's been said that episode 4 is very Neel-centered. Looking forward to it. May The Force Be With You, Brothers. John, I like the t-shirt...Chris, love the Ewok sweater.

Aw, Dudes! I was hoping to see your reaction to the 2-episode Premier of, Skeleton Crew. I thoroughly enjoyed it. 8 out of 10, for me, so far. As a 1st-Generation SW Fan (saw it in the theater in Summer 1977), it was absolutely in my Gen-X wheelhouse. Spielbergian/Lucas media and easter eggs GALORE. I love the 4 kids (esp., of course, Neel...#NeelNation), and can't wait to see them in the Mandoverse movies. Chris, I really like your baseball jacket. It looks just like something the kids from At-Attin would be seen in. Please record your reactions to the rest of the series. We want to see it. BTW: At-Attin is TOTALLY SUS. Can you say, Dystopian? MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU GUYS. #BlueMilk

I watched Star Wars on opening night in 1977 and I've been a life-long fan ever since. The kids in this show are more the age of my grandchildren. This is the first time we've had a show that showcases kids in a Star Wars setting and the first time we've seen Star Wars in a suburban setting. This is different than a city like Coruscant. I like it.
@anthonyyoutubefan75674 ай бұрын
Cool reaction, Guys. I've been looking forward to this for a while. This is the fourth tale within The Mandoverse, w/ The Bad Batch being a satellite tale around it. Yeah, like you, I'm curious to know the name of this new (Earth-like suburbs setting) planet We're seeing in The Outer Rim. Yes, the owl creature is the most fascinating new character I'm looking forward to getting to know in this show. I believe that Jude Law's character, Jod Na Nawood is a Force-sensitive (but perhaps not a Former Jedi Padawan), who, based on certain statements from the creators of the show, has a dark, checkered past. These characters will also appear in The Mandalorian & Grogu. Yes, The Amblin is strong with this one. It'd actually be a stroke of brilliance, if, after the Lucasfilm Ltd. logo appears on the screen, the Amblin (E.T. and Elliot) logo follows it; cause that's what this is...a joining of the two aesthetics. If only Steven Spielberg had co-directed one of the episodes. Come to think of it: The next Spielberg/Amblin release will be the epic UFO film he's currently working on. So, in a way, he'll be returning to Sci-Fi/space again. May The Force Be With You, Kent and Chris.

Horseshit. Almost all these are outrageous claims but the biggest one is "the empire". As if nobody else ever conceived of an evil empire before dune. And fyi the empire was inspired by Nazi Germany and the order of ancient Samurai. Look at Palpatine and follow his political career. He conquered the Republic the same way Hitler conquered Germany and most of Europe. Order 66 is just like when Hitler killed his Brown coats and the night of the long knives.
@Sauce7879 ай бұрын
The Empire isn't based on Dune it's based on Nazi Germany, it's pretty explicit. Why do you think they're called Stormtroopers?
